  2. field goal

A death by a thousand cuts type offence by the Steelers today, with the Browns just about shutting them down before they can find the end zone.

Chris Boswell sends one over from 48 yards, his third of the day, to extend the lead, which looks comfortable as long as Cleveland's offence continues to offer nothing much.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Cowboyspublished at 19:03 BST 12 October

    Dallas Cowboys 16–10 Carolina Panthers

This is what I signed up for!

A ding-dong battle is ensuing in Charlotte and Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson has just walked in his fourth touchdown in his past three games.

Another laser-sharp pass from Dak Prescott and the NFL's highest-scoring offence is on the move.

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Coltspublished at 19:02 BST 12 October

    Arizona Cardinals 7–14 Indianapolis Colts

Another side retaking the lead is the Indianapolis Colts after a dynamite drive spearheaded by a 30-yard rush star running back Jonathan Taylor.

In the end, quarterback Daniel Jones spots a lane and cruises through it to move the Colts in front.

  5. field goal

Field goal - Chargerspublished at 18:59 BST 12 October

Los Angeles Chargers 9-7 Miami Dolphins

Los Angeles retake the lead thanks to another successful 29-yard kick from Cameron Dicker.

  6. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 18:57 BST 12 October

New England Patriots 14-13 New Orleans Saints

The Saints can punch it in! And nobody in the New Orleans squad packs more of a punch than Taysom Hill - the do-it-all Swiss army knife of the NFL.

The quarterback/running back/tight end hybrid powers in from a yard out to get the first Saints touchdown of the game.

Actually, he can play at wide receiver too - what a player. Handy in fantasy too.

  7. field goal

Field goal - Ramspublished at 18:55 BST 12 October

Los Angeles Rams 3–3 Baltimore Ravens

After that near score for Puka Nacua, the Rams settle for a field goal and it's duly dunked over by Joshua Karty.

    Three apiece.

  8. Postpublished at 18:55 BST 12 October

New England Patriots 14-6 New Orleans Saints

Spencer Rattler is making ground for the Saints as he fights for an eight-yard gain to get just inside the Patriots 10-yard line.

A very solid drive this one from New Orleans as they close in on the end zone. Can they punch it in?

  9. Interception tradepublished at 18:54 BST 12 October

    Arizona Cardinals 7–7 Indianapolis Colts

Ugly in Indianapolis as Daniel Jones of the Colts and Jacoby Brissett of the Cardinals trade interceptions.

    as you were.

Los Angeles Rams 0–3 Baltimore Ravens

Almost a touchdown for the Rams star receiver Puka Nacua but great coverage from Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

Nacua is hurt though, limping out the back of the end zone and needing the trainers.

We'll keep an eye on that one.

  12. field goal

Field goal - Steelerspublished at 18:51 BST 12 October

    Cleveland Browns 0-6 Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers tries to find DK Metcalf in the end zone but the Browns have him covered, so out trots Chris Boswell to convert from 50 yards away to double the Pittsburgh lead.

As expected though, it's tough going against this Browns defence.

  13. Perfect start for Mayepublished at 18:49 BST 12 October

New England Patriots 14-6 New Orleans Saints

    Drake MayeImage source, Getty Images

Drake Maye showed signs of his ability last season, he started well this year, but he may have had a huge boost from last week's win in Buffalo, as he's made a perfect start in New Orleans tonight.

    Drake Maye stats so far:

    Pass attempts/completion: 5/5

    Pass yards: 103

    Touchdowns: 2

    Interceptions: 0

Passer rating: 158.3 (perfect passer rating)

  14. touchdown

    Dallas Cowboys 10–10 Carolina Panthers

    Bryce YoungImage source, Getty Images

A first touchdown of his fledgling NFL career for Tetairoa McMillan of the Carolina Panthers.

His catch in the endzone for 19 yards caps a 65-yard drive from quarterback Bryce Young and levels things up in Charlotte.

  15. field goal

Field goal - Chargerspublished at 18:44 BST 12 October

Los Angeles Chargers 6-7 Miami Dolphins

Cameron Dicker converts another field goal for the Chargers, this time from 31 yards out.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 18:42 BST 12 October

New England Patriots 14-6 New Orleans Saints

Wow! This is incredible stuff as Drake Maye fires a bullet into the end zone and Kayshon Boutte hauls in a 25-yard touchdown grab.

That's some seriously strong hands from Boutte as he catches it alsmot at the same time as Saints defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry - but the offensive player always gets the benefit in those calls.

And by the way - what a battle of great NFL names on Kayshon Boutte v Kool-Aid McKinstry...

  17. touchdown

Touchdown - Jaguarspublished at 18:41 BST 12 October

    Seattle Seahawks 0-6 Jacksonville Jaguars

Brian Thomas Jr gets his first receiving touchdown of the season off a 21-yard pass short left from Trevor Lawrence

A big miscommunication from the Seahawks defence leaves them falling for the fake bubble screen.

  18. touchdown

    Dallas Cowboys 10–3 Carolina Panthers

    Dak PrescottImage source, Getty Images

The NFL's most prolific offence keeps on rolling, albeit from an unlikely source.

A first touchdown catch for Cowboys full-back Hunter Luepke and Dallas move in front.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 18:36 BST 12 October

    Arizona Cardinals 7–7 Indianapolis Colts

It's noisy in Indianapolis but Cardinals running back Bam Knight has just silenced this crowd somewhat with punchy one-yard touchdown.

    All square.

  20. touchdown

Los Angeles Chargers 3-7 Miami Dolphins

De'Von Achane clears the Chargers defence, sprinting down the right side for an impressive 49-yard touchdown.
