Men's 200m semi-finals
Screams of delight from the Italian crowd as Filippo Tortu wins the third 200m semi-final.
Another home medal on the horizon?
Israel's Blessing Akwasi Afrifah comes second and also goes into the final.
Men's 200m semi-finals
Now for the final semi of the men's 200m.
No British representative in this race, although we do have an Irishman in Mark Smyth.
Women's high jump final
And then there were two.
Iryna Gerashenko fails in three efforts at 1.97m. She will pick up the bronze medal.
It is Yaroslava Mahuchikh v Angelina Topic for gold.
Men's hammer throw final
Jake Norris improves with his third throw, to 73.66m.
Unfortunately, that only gets him up to 10th place, meaning he misses the cut where the top eight progress to take their final three throws.
So no British medal in the men's hammer, either.
Men's 200m semi-finals
The fourth place runner in that second semi, Erik Erlandsson of Sweden, finished in 20.52 seconds.
That's quicker than GB's Jona Efoloko, which knocks him out of the fastest loser places.
No British representation in the final of the men's 200m, I'm afraid.
Men's 200m semi-finals
France's Pablo Mateo streaks through in the final metres to win this final, while looking across the line at his competitors.
Eseosa Desalu of Italy takes second to qualify for the final, to the delight of the crowd.
Jeriel Quainoo is eliminated.
Men's 200m semi-finals
Set...
Men's 200m semi-finals
The contenders are on track for the second men's 200m semi-final.
Britain's Jeriel Quainoo goes in this one. He's ranked outside the top 50 in Europe, this is his first major semi-final. It's more about learning at this championships for him.
But you never know...
Turkey's Ramil Guliyev, who won gold in this event at London 2012, also features here.
Women's triple jump final
Screams of delight from Turkey's Tugba Danismaz, as she sets a new national record in the triple jump final.
Her distance of 14.57m currently has her on course for a gold medal.
Men's hammer throw final
After two throws, GB's Jake Norris is dead last in the hammer.
He needs to be in the top eight after three throws to avoid an early exit.
Women's high jump final
There are three women remaining the high jump - two Ukrainians in Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Iryna Gerashenko, and Angelina Topic of Serbia.
These will be the medalists - but in what order?
The heavy rain has eased, and the temperature has cooled.
It's excellent conditions for athletics - for now.
Men's 200m semi-finals
Joshua Hartmann narrowly wins the semi in 20.38 seconds, from Switzerland's Timothe Mumenthaler.
Jona Efoloko finishes third in 20.73 secs. He will have to wait and see if he qualifies for the final as a fastest loser.
Men's 200m semi-finals
Take your marks...
Men's 200m semi-finals
No rest for the wicked.
On we go to the men's 200m semis, featuring Jona Efoloko of Great Britain & Northern Ireland in race one.
Joshua Hartmann, the German record holder, is the favourite in this race.
Final at 21:35 BST
A Brit at the top of the qualifiers, and a Brit at the bottom.
Two Brits will line up in tonight's showpiece event - Dina Asher-Smith and Amy Hunt.
Women's high jump final
Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who has jumped higher than two metres this season, is dominating the field again in the women's high jump.
Only her and Angelina Topic of Serbia have cleared 1.95m so far.
Women's 100m semi-finals
It's a great result for Luxembourg, as Patrizia Van Der Weken wins her semi-final in 11.00 seconds, narrowly ahead of Italy's Zaynab Dosso.
Third place is Boglakar Takacs of Hungary, in 11.16secs - slower than Amy Hunt's time!
That means Hunt joins GB team mate Dina Asher-Smith in the final later tonight. A superb showing from both women.
