Leicestershire: Wasim Khan 'honoured' to become chief exec
New Leicestershire chief executive Wasim Khan says he is "honoured and privileged" to become the first British Asian boss in English cricket.
The 43-year-old former Derbyshire, Sussex and Warwickshire batsman is to take up his position at Grace Road in January 2015.
The team have not won a County Championship game since 2012, but Khan says he is taking on the role with his "eyes wide open" and wants to make Leicestershire "the leading non-Test match club in the country" within five years.
