World Track Cycling: Victoria Pendleton on emotional win
World sprint champion Victoria Pendleton talks to BBC Sport on an "emotional rollercoaster" day that began with a crash and ended with her sixth title.
Competing in her last world championships, Pendleton admits she lacked confidence going into the event having felt she "let down" Jess Varnish in the team sprint, but is "delighted" to end on a high.
The 31-year-old crashed in the semi-final before eliminating home favourite Anna Meares and took the title when opponent Simona Krupeckaite of Lithuania was relegated in the second heat of the final.
