World Track Cycling: Great Britain defend world title

Great Britain's women's pursuit team of Laura Trott, Dani King and Elinor Barker beat Australia to defend their World Track title in Belarus.

Newcomer Barker led the team and describes winning gold in a time of three minutes and 18.140 seconds, 1.773 seconds ahead of Australia as "above and beyond what she dreamed of".

The gold is Great Britain's first of these championships and secures a third consecutive world title for the women's team pursuiters.
