World Track Cycling: Martyn Irvine wins Ireland gold

Martyn Irvine wins the men's scratch race at the World Championships in Belarus to give Ireland their first track gold medal in 117 years.

The seven-time Irish national track champion says it "all paid off" as he held off Austria's Andreas Mueller during a dramatic final lap to claim the world title, with Hong Kong's Ho Ting Kwok in third.

Earlier Irvine took silver in the individual pursuit, making it the most successful day in Irish track cycling history.
