Man Utd: Sir Alex Ferguson keeps faith with youngsters

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he believes patience is the key to developing young talent.

Ferguson says David De Gea, 22, needs time to improve as goalkeepers are not at their best until they reach their late-20s.

The 71-year-old also highlights Danny Welbeck's development, and Jonny Evans's importance to the first team, as examples of how youth is given a chance at Old Trafford.
