Man Utd v Liverpool: Louis van Gaal slams Phelan and Neville

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says that the club's former players are not in a position to judge his current crop, as his side prepare to face Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Both Gary Neville and Mike Phelan have been critical of the Dutchman this week, but after seeing his team win five Premier League games in a row Van Gaal believes that such criticism is "based on no facts".

The United boss also believes that Brendan Rodgers men have been "unlucky" in recent weeks.
