GAA Director-General Paraic Duffy praises 'most open' Championship

GAA Director General Paraic Duffy says the Ulster Championship is the 'most open' of the four provincial football championships.

Speaking at the launch of this year's Ulster SFC, Duffy explained that the present provincial championship structure was "here to stay for the foreseeable future".

The Monaghan man also reiterated the GAA's commitment to striking a balance between screening their matches on terrestrial free-to-air television and satellite channels.
