Down's Kevin McKernan expects attacking encounter

Down player Kevin McKernan expects an attacking encounter against Tyrone in the Ulster SFC preliminary round on 18 May.

McKernan adds that Monaghan's victory in last year's provincial series has given other counties hope of replicating that success.

The Mourneman says the introduction of the 'black card' concept this year is a good idea and it is being "drilled into players in training that they should avoid it".
