Shane Lowry's Bridgestone win celebrations on hold at US PGA

Shane Lowry says he will celebrate his WGC-Bridgestone win at home in Ireland next Monday but first aims to challenge strongly at this week's US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.

Lowry moved into the top 20 in the world rankings after his two-shot win at the World Gold Championship event in Ohio.

"I'm looking forward to getting home next Monday and I'll probably celebrate then," said the Offaly man.

"I didn't get to doing much celebrating on Sunday evening because I'm trying to focus on this event."
