Katie Taylor fights the way she fights. If you hit her, her engine revs up. Amanda Serrano will be thinking, knockout, knockout, knockout.

And here comes the undisputed light-welterweight champion Katie Taylor.

No cheerleaders for Taylor as she calmly walks down the ramp accompanied by her full collection of belts and to the sound of 'Awake My Soul' by Hillsong Worship and Brooke Ligertwood.

A black and gold robe with jewels on the shoulders is the very stylish outfit of choice for the champ.

That was a considered walk.

Just 30 minutes later than billed - not too bad as far as some of these cards go - we have challenger Amanda Serrano making the walk.

Serrano makes her way down the ramp and is flanked by the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.

The seven-weight champion is wearing a hat that says 'the real vs the fake' and has a message saying 'believe in yourself' on her vest.

Serrano, as always, looks super confident and is waving her arms up and down to try and draw a reaction from the crowd at AT&T Stadium.

Katie has miles on her clock. Serrano does too, but I think she's a little bit more preserved than Taylor. Power will be big in this fight.

Two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas: "You can never usually bet against Katie Taylor but I am going to. Being out the ring for so long against a pressure fighter and, most of all, a southpaw, will cause her a lot of problems like it did in the first fight.

"There isn't a style that Taylor hasn't come across. Even when she lost, she came back and won emphatically. But I do think everything edges to Serrano."

Lightweight contender Caroline Dubois: "I believe Katie wins the fight on points."

Retired world champion Barry Jones: "Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano 2 - still the best fight in boxing, as was the first fight. An absolute war of the ages. This fight is a little different as both fighters have a few more miles on the clock. Katie probably has a few more miles, although Serrano hasn't been the vintage fighter we've seen in the past.

"This is at light-welterweight, the weight advantage is with Katie even more so in this second fight. I see it going down to who can dominate early. Serrano is a heavy hitter. It's important for her to make Katie feel the pace. Will it be about wear and tear? Miles on the clock? Desire? Will Katie Taylor go to her well again? I think she can. I'm predicting a very close points victory for the queen of Ireland."

How much are we looking forward to seeing these two legends go at it again?

We've spoken before of the lack of atmosphere in some blockbuster bouts in Saudi Arabia recently, and particularly how the locals are generally unaware of any boxing event happening.

That is not the case here. It's got a huge event feel. Bars and restaurants are hosting watchalongs, queues for news conference and weigh-in began hours before the start, hotel staff are all talking about it. Like it or not, there's no denying the mass appeal of this card.

The first fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano couldn't have been much closer - check out the punch stats above.

Taylor came through with a split-decision with two judges scoring in her favour and one judge gave it to Serrano.

A combined 320 punches were thrown over 10 rounds.

Serrano landed more punches than Taylor, 173 to 147.

The Puerto Rican also landed more power punches. But Taylor was more accurate in her work, landing 39% of her punches compared to 28% for Serrano.

Will it be this close this time round?

Tonight's main event has drawn criticism from boxing purists, given the 31 year age difference between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, but the inclusion of Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano adds some credibility.

However, unlike the first bout between Taylor and Serrano, when the pair headlined at Madison Square Garden, the rematch has been built around the carnival of Tyson v Paul.

Taylor spoke of the of the privilege of featuring at such a huge event, yet it cannot be ignored this marquee moment for women's boxing is being facilitated by two men, and one of them served three years in prison for rape.

Tyson's public image has been rehabilitated in the decades following his conviction in 1992.

Cameos in Hollywood blockbusters such as The Hangover have strengthened his cult-figure status, and the 'baddest man on the planet' image he once boasted appears to have softened.

I genuinely thought the stadium would only be half full for Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor, but I am pleasantly surprised. While there are a few small pockets of empty seats, most people have taken their seats in this eye-catching dome-shaped venue.

Former light-welterweight champion Regis Prograis: "I am going with Taylor – we are in the same squad."

Former middleweight world champion Hannah Rankin: "I think the rematch is going to be just as good, if not better than the first fight. I think Amanda has a point to prove but I'm going to go with Katie on points."

Featherweight world champion Skye Nicolson: "I will always back Katie Taylor. Breaking down the first fight and the last couple of years, I feel Taylor has had better performances and against better standard of opponents. She has also been fighting at the weight whereas Serrano has gone back down to featherweight. I haven't been impressed Serrano's performances either, so I will say Taylor by a wider points decision than last time."

Olympic gold medallist Galal Yafai: "It's a tough fight. I actually fought on the first one at Madison Square Garden and it was the best atmosphere of any fight I've ever been too.

"If I had to bet my house on it then I'd probably have to go with Serrano, but I'll be rooting for Katie Taylor because she's an icon and a lovely person."

Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos have just put on a brilliant advert for boxing.

After 12 very competitive rounds, full of action, it has ended as a split draw.
