We still seem to be on track for Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano at around 03:00 GMT.

They are next on the running order for their undisputed light-welterweight contest after Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos wraps up.

WBC welterweight champion Barrios and Ramos have just completed the eighth round with 12 scheduled.

Eddie Hearn is in the building. The Matchroom boss upset Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions after calling the main event a disgrace and that he would leave after watching his fighter Katie Taylor's fight with Amanda Serrano.

Well, Hearn just told BBC Sport that they might not let him in the ring after Taylor's fight but "I'd like to see them stop me".

He also said he might change his mind and stay for the Tyson-Paul but isn't too sure yet. He better make his mind up soon.

  8. 'Great to be a part of history'published at 02:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    Taylor v Serrano 2

Since beating Amanda Serrano in a fight of the year contender two years ago, Katie Taylor has experienced what it is like to be on the wrong end of a result for the first time.

Taylor lost against Chantelle Cameron in an undisputed light-welterweight contest in October 2022, but bounced back in May 2023 to win the rematch.

The two-weight world champion spoke to BBC Sport's Sam Harris in the build-up to her first defence of that undisputed title tonight.

The Netflix broadcast just said he is set to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week. Well deserved and long overdue.

  10. Ireland v USA with Katie Taylorpublished at 02:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Taylor v Serrano 2

Kal was just saying (see 02:08 post) Katie Taylor has been cool customer this week.

We decided to have some fun with her this week and accidentally started a social media debate about what exactly an 'Irish breakfast' consists of.

    Check it out.

  11. 'Women's boxing is only going to go up from here'published at 02:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    Taylor v Serrano 2

The richest bout in female boxing is set to get under way shortly as Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

Two of the most recognisable and decorated, they are leading the way for future generations.

The pair took home more than £1m each for their first bout in 2022 - and they will be rewarded with seven figures again after tonight's encounter.

"This is every fighter's dream to get big paydays and I love my sport, I love what I do," Taylor told BBC Sport as she downplayed reports it could be as much as $6.1m (£4.8m).

Serrano was also hesitant to reveal the exact figure of her purse during fight week, but feels other female fighters can also capitalise on the magnitude of her rivalry with Olympic gold medallist Taylor.

"Women's boxing is getting better and it's only going to go up from here," Serrano says. "I just hope their pay cheques get better, just like mine and Katie's."

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano are expected in the ring at approximately 03:00 GMT, with Mike Tyson and Jake Paul due to meet just before 04:00.

Once we get to Taylor v Serrano, we should be moving at quite the pace.

The undisputed light-welterweight contest is scheduled for 10x2 minute rounds, so if it goes the distance like last time then we will only get 20 minutes of action.

The main event between Tyson and Paul is even shorter - at full length it will last just 16 minutes. It is 8x2 minute rounds.

  15. Predictions - 'Hard to go against Taylor'published at 02:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    Taylor v Serrano 2

Former lightweight world champion Anthony Crolla: "I might be going with heart but I think Taylor wins a close points decision, maybe even a controversial one. I was lucky enough to be ringside for the first fight. It was one of the greatest atmospheres I've ever experienced. I would loved if Taylor had retired that night, go out on a great performance and great fight.

"I thought Taylor had done enough that night although a lot of people I was around thought Amanda should have been awarded the decision. I thought she was fantastic in avenging the defeat to Chantelle Cameron but how many more nights can Taylor keep going to the well? I don't believe there's many more, but you can also say the same about Serrano."

Light-welterweight Jack Catterall: "I've been a fan of Taylor for a quite a while so I'll be rooting for her."

Former cruiserweight world champion Lawrence Okolie: "I obviously want to back Taylor. I hope the fights she had with Chantelle Cameron haven’t taken too much out of her at this stage of her career. If so, Amanda Serrano is a good puncher, worker and could out-graft her. But I do think Taylor has already shown her talent and hustle throughout her career so it’s hard to go against her."

Myself and my BBC Sport colleagues (who are awake in Manchester and those in Texas) are split right down the middle with our predictions for how the rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano plays out.

  17. Serrano 'ready to put on a show'published at 02:12 Greenwich Mean Time

    Taylor v Serrano 2

Seven-weight world champion Amanda Serrano sat down with BBC Sport's Kal Sajad earlier this week.

Serrano suffered a split-decision defeat against Katie Taylor when they met in April 2022, could a trilogy be on the cards if she avenges that loss tonight?

  18. Taylor in good spiritspublished at 02:08 Greenwich Mean Time

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at AT&T Stadium, Texas

Katie Taylor does her talking in the ring and is generally not a fan of all the media commitments. She has been in great spirits this week - jovial and smiling at all the events.

Taylor-Serrano deserves to be a headline act, but you get the feeling Taylor is enjoying the lack of media intrusion.

  19. 'I'm not going to lose, did you hear me?' - Tysonpublished at 02:06 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tyson v Paul

A reserved Mike Tyson, a crude Jake Paul, a diamond spiked ear cover and a surprise appearance from former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew - Wednesday's news conference was as chaotic as you'd expect from an event such as this.

It's not long until the action gets under way tonight, so we've kindly condensed the near hour-long media event into a much easier to digest highlight package for you.

    Enjoy!
