Daniel Dubois to DAZN after beating Filip Hrgovic: "I have full respect for the guy, he was a good fighter. It was a learning curve for me. I've got the IBF belt, now for the next.

"I was a bit cold to start with, I heard the advice from Frank Warren and my dad and went for it.

"I felt a few shots, woke up and then I was on it."

When did you think you had it won?: "The round before the last I was getting to it and it was coming together like magic. My dad told me things would happen.

"It's all learning experience. I've come from rock bottom last year to being back on top."

Do you feel your career has been a rollercoaster?: "It has felt amazing. Thanks to the best promoter in the world Frank Warren for the opportunities.

What's next?: "I've heard the next opponent will be AJ, so bring it on."

Anxious to potentially face Anthony Joshua?: "I'm anxious to become the best. This is my future, my time and time to come through the best."

Anthony Joshua will know that was the best performance of Daniel Dubois' career.

A statement victory from Daniel Dubois against a previously undefeated Filip Hrgovic.

That is six wins from Dubois' last seven trips to the ring. His only defeat in that sequence came against the now undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Daniel Dubois has just put on the performance of his career.

The doctor was taking a look at Hrgovic's cuts and has stopped the fight.

It's the right call. Hrgovic was cut above both eyes.

The crowd are on their feet. Hrgovic some how stays on his feet as Dubois lands a clean right hand.

The referee breaks the fighters to have a word with Dubois about shots to the back of the head.

As soon the fight recommences, Dubois gets straight back to work and piles on further damage.

Hrgovic might not have long left here.

Dubois is clearly feeling confident and fresh? He's off his stool way before time and standing ready to get the round going.

Hrgovic, meanwhile, needs every second as his cuts - he's picked up another around the left eye - need treatment.

Dubois digs in a left to the body and follows with another to the head. He goes chasing and has more success with a left hook to the side of the head.

Dubois is taking control of this fight. Hrgovic is being picked apart.

This one is tough to call.

Dubois starts on the front foot, throwing out the jab and trying to follow with the left. He backs Hrgovic on to the ropes but the Croatian steps to the side and escapes.

A left hook to the body from Dubois stings Hrgovic.

Hrgovic is no longer having the same success with his right, he tries to hide it behind the jab but Dubois shows good footwork to step out of range.

I give Dubois the edge. Dubois looks tired but Hrgovic looks absolutely shattered. It's gone on longer than I thought based off that first round.

The footwork of Dubois is underrated, he moves out of the way and takes the sting out of these shots.

It has been confirmed that the cut above Hrgovic's right eye was caused by a punch and not a clash of heads.

Dubois lands a left hook right on that mark.

Hrgovic is getting the better of the exchanges in this round though. He forces Dubois to take a backwards step with a straight right just before the bell.

Anthony Joshua is set next to Eddie Hearn. The winner of this fight may well face Joshua in September.

A reminder that as far as the 5 v 5 contest goes, Filip Hrgovic needs to win this fight by stoppage to keep Matchroom's hopes of a draw alive.

Side note, Anthony Joshua has looked pretty relaxed, sat back in his seat all night but crouched forwards now as he takes a close look at these two fighters.

He could be set to face the winner later this year.

Dubois dips down low and then comes up to sting Hrgovic with a jab.

Hrgovic responds with that trusty right hand before Dubois chases him down with a one-two.

The blood is pouring from Hrgovic's right eye. Is that going to be a big factor as this fight goes on?

There are a lot of voices in Daniel Dubois corner in between rounds.

He's getting instruction from trainer Don Charles but Dubois' dad is also trying to offer some advice.
