Some good work to the body from Harper as Zimmermann walks into punches but shakes them off.

Harper backs Zimmermann up on the ropes and eats a left hook but she's hard as nails and it's another round survived.

After seeing the first round, I thought it would be all over in the second but here we are in round eight!

Is Harper nervous? Maybe put herself under too much pressure to put on a show in her hometown?

Anyway, it's another round down and one that should be for Harper but she's not troubling Zimmermann as much anymore and the challenger is growing in confidence.

Zimmermann gets close and lands a nice uppercut on the chin of Harper - who has a bloodied nose.

Lovely combination from Harper to throw a right to the head, left hook to the body and then another left hook to the head.

Credit to Zimmermann, she's clearly way off the level of Harper but she's giving it a right go!

It's the quality of Harper, and the rushing in on Zimmermann that's the difference.

You can't fault the effort of Zimmermann here as she grits her teeth and throws punches to stem the flow of Harper.

Zimmermann has one of the most unorthodox styles you'll see and it's not easy for Harper to pick apart and land the knockout.

But, it's another round down it's five to Harper.

Zimmermann is tough, rugged, strong. She gets through another round. Very brave. She really wants to win it, but just doesn't have the skillset.

Zimmermann is trying to throw more herself now but it's ill-timed and Harper is able to counter with ease. Zimmermann is rushing in and it's causing plenty of clinching.

With 30 seconds to go, Harper lands a firm right hand but Zimmermann takes it to survive the fourth round.

Harper lands a nice right hook on the side of Zimmermann's head but follows in too close and Zimmermann clinches again. Harper is well in control but struggling to land combinations to get Zimmermann out of there.

Harper lands a straight left with 10 seconds to go in the round and it knocks Zimmermann back but she shakes it off.

It's a complete mismatch. Harper is being a bit tight instead of just letting go. She has a sitting target right in front of her.

Harper lands a hard right that knocks Zimmermann back and nails her with a body shot. Zimmermann is backtracking and bouncing off the ropes as Harper waits for the moment to land heavy.

I don't think Zimmermann has thrown anything in anger yet but Harper is dominating. I'd be surprised to see this one go the distance.
