  2. From London to Doncasterpublished at 22:09 British Summer Time 23 May

    Harper v Zimmermann

It's not quite the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium like we had for Chris Eubank Jr's stunning win over Conor Benn but Doncaster's Eco-Power Stadium will do just fine.

I've only been once myself and it was absolutely baltic. Safe to say it'll be a bit warmer tonight!

The Eco-Power stadium is home to the Doncaster Rovers Football Club and Doncaster Rugby League Club.

Organisers told me that around 8,000 fans are expected tonight, although at the time of writing there seems to be significantly less.

It's just the East Stand which is open and then we have some floored seating. I think around 4,000 would be a more accurate (maybe even generous) estimate.

  4. Time for the co-mainpublished at 22:07 British Summer Time 23 May

    Hughes v Sharp

Doncaster's Maxi Hughes is on the way to the ring in what many think could be the fight of the night.

After turning heads in a unanimous points win over Gary Cully in December, Hughes looks to make it a third win on the spin against Archie Sharp.

  5. Sylvester defeats Mould by split decisionpublished at 22:05 British Summer Time 23 May

    Mould v Sylvester

Lewis Sylvester defeated Reece Mould by split decision (97-93, 94-96, 96-94) with Mould picking up the fourth defeat of his career in front of a home crowd.

Both fighters had their moments in the fight, but in the end it was probably the right decision.

Some cracking pictures to go with a cracking fight.

We've just had the 10 bell salute in the ring after yesterday's tragic news that 25-year-old boxer Georgia O'Connor had lost her battle with cancer.

O'Connor signed with promoter Ben Shalom's Boxxer when she turned professional and was undefeated in three fights.

"We are heartbroken by the passing of Georgia O'Connor. A true warrior inside and outside the ring, the boxing community has lost a talented, courageous and determined young woman far too soon," Boxxer said.

"Georgia was loved, respected and admired by her friends here at Boxxer. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time."

Tributes poured in for the much-loved boxer with world champion Ellie Scotney saying "she was the most beautiful human" she ever met.

Hello from the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster.

Before I left my house, I told my wife-to-be that I'm off to "Donny"... she said it sounded daft in my southern accent and to never say it like that again. Fair point.

Terri Harper has been a great servant to British boxing. A three-weight world champion who has been in there with the best. Remember, it wasn't long ago that she was ready to walk away from the sport. Now she's on a quest to become an undisputed champion.

Beating Natalie Zimmerman should be straightforward for 'Belter', but you just never quite know in this sport.

Laamouz beats Flint by unanimous decision

We've just witnessed the most incredible performance from Jimmy Joe Flint in his fight against Haithem Laamouz.

Flint injured his right arm in the second round and it looked as though he could no longer carry on but he bit down on his gum shield and boxed 10 rounds his one arm!

The one armed Flint didn't get the result but what an effort that was.

  10. Doncaster on the map!published at 21:55 British Summer Time 23 May

    Harper v Zimmermann

Last weekend it was the turn of Doncaster's favourite son, now Doncaster's favourite daughter is under the spotlight.

David Allen stunned the boxing world with a brutal knockout victory over Johnny Fisher at the Copperbox last Saturday and now Terri Harper looks for a win of her own.

    Hello boxing fans!

What a treat we have in store for you tonight as Terri Harper defends her WBO lightweight world championship against Natalie Zimmermann in her hometown of Doncaster.

Harper has her eyes on more lightweight gold, but before that, she must put on a show here.
