You don't always need a world title on the line to have fun.

We've seen some incredible all-British bouts over the years - anyone remember that fight between two middleweights in Birmingham back in 1990...

Take a bow Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn. A fine show in front of a packed and boisterous Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A hard fought win gives the Eubank family the edge in the family trilogy.

Hot off the heels of asking who Conor Benn should face next - an overwhelming majority of you opted for him to look for a world title shot back at welterweight rather than seek a rematch - it only feels right to question what next for Chris Eubank Jr.

Tonight's win makes it three on the bounce for Eubank but how much have those three wins done for his career?

Eubank avenged his defeat in a rematch with Liam Smith before beating Kamil Szeremeta and wrapping up his three-fight win streak against Benn.

A world title tilt seems unlikely and aged 35 no other names really spring to mind, so is a rematch with Benn the only real option on the table?

Thumbs up if Eubank should rematch Benn or thumbs down if he should be looking elsewhere.

Three-weight undisputed world champion Claressa Shields on X: "All three [scorecards] 116-112 unanimously [for] CHRIS EUBANK JR. Wow what a fight!

"Conor Benn got some Skills!!!! I think he didn’t get out skilled, he got out hustled if you ask me! But what a man to go up 2 weight classes and stand up like that! Wow! [I don't know] why my eyes are watery but what a fight! How special!"

Chris Eubank Jr's promoters Boxxer have just said the fighter has gone to hospital.

"On recommendation of the onsite doctor, Chris Eubank Jr has been taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks," they said.

Nigel Benn gave his verdict on his son's defeat to Chris Eubank: "I thought he did really well and he learnt a lot from this. He was working too much on the ropes, but that is taking nothing away from Chris - it was his night.

"We can handle defeat gracefully and now we go back to the drawing board."

I'll save you having to Google who the reigning welterweight world champions are.

Jaron Ennis holds the WBA and IBF belts.

Mario Barrios is the WBC champion.

Brian Norman Jr holds the WBO belt.

Those comments from Conor Been do raise a good question.

Eddie Hearn confirmed earlier in the week that there is a rematch clause, so we could see Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn meet again later this year.

I'm sure on the basis of what we've just seen that there is a appetite for that.

But the prospect of moving back down to welterweight to compete for a world title has got to be hugely tempting.

More from Conor Benn on what is next in his career: "I believe I can fight at 160 [pounds]. If we don't do the rematch, which I'd love to do to avenge the loss, I'll go down to welterweight and win the WBC world title.

"It's either [WBC welterweight champion] Mario Barrios or the rematch with Eubank, whichever happens next I'll be content with."

Conor Benn on what went wrong against Chris Eubank Jr: "Fourteen months out of the ring played a factor, that would be the only thing - inactivity.

"I felt like it was a close fight. I'm not going to say 'yeah I should have won that', I've got to watch it back. It was close. I stayed on the ropes maybe a bit too long and he worked harder towards the end.

"A massive thank you to all my supporters who came out, it was some homecoming."

I've seen a fair few texts suggesting Chris Eubank Jr was handed this victory but I think that is an unfair characterisation of what we have just witnessed.

Sure, Conor Benn started strongly and there were some close rounds, but the statistics don't lie.

Eubank landed more punches, landed more power punches and a higher percentage of his punches thrown landed.

It's difficult to argue with that, right?

Chris Eubank Sr on his son's victory against Conor Benn: "He couldn't move around the ring, he had to stand toe-to-toe and that is legendary behaviour in the ring. I am so proud of him.

"Conor Benn is an extraordinary fighter and you saw that tonight. I thought he would go out in four or five rounds but he was strong throughout the fight."
