    Eathan Bosch takes his third.

Ben Foakes is half forward, fencing at a back of a length delivery and the ball carries to keeper Michael Pepper.

Indian batter Sai Sudharsan is in next - playing his first game for Surrey this season.

    Surrey 100-3 v Essex

    Hampshire 125-4 v Kent

Grant Stewart has one crash into James Vince's pads and he appeals vociferously but does not get the decision he wants.

    That looked mighty close.

And the next ball is hit gloriously through the covers for four by Vince. Beautiful shot!

  4. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 204-6

The Bears reach 200 in the 57th over via an Ed Barnard drive through the off side on the back foot for a couple of runs.

Migael Pretorius continues to offer bounce and movement in the attack, but he remains on three wickets - having taken all three this morning.

Michael Burgess defends down the track to see off the 58th over, bowled by spinner Jack Leach.

  5. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 30 June

    Lancashire 130-4 v Notts

Lyndon James' figures take a hit as he is struck for successive fours by George Balderson. The first is a gift, a ball sent down his pads that Balderson flicks fine, the second is a touch lucky as it squirts down past gully for four more.

Lancashire could do with a good partnership here and support for Keaton Jennings, who has 67.

  6. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 30 June

    Surrey 98-3 v Essex

Ben Foakes is forward to Jamie Porter, glancing the bowler through square leg for four.

  7. 'Pears will be content with their day's work so far'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 30 June

    Durham 190 v Worcs

    Trevor Owens
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

Worcestershire, having won the toss, I would say are fairly content with their day's work so far.

But we shall only see just how good, bad or indifferent that Durham total was when Worcestershire are out there batting.

When you win the toss you've got to make the most out of your choice and I think Worcestershire have done that.

There's a large patch of blue sky out there now after it was very gloomy this morning.

  8. 'Stewart has been very useful'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 30 June

    Hampshire 119-3 v Kent

    Matt Cole
    BBC Radio Kent

Grant Stewart has been very useful for his captain.

He's been a threat but also keeping the dot balls coming.

  9. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 190-6

Kasey Aldridge is in his 10th over of the day and Michael Burgess does well to dig out a yorker.

A short ball brings what appears to be a top edge that is caught by James Rew!

But it's not out. It actually struck the top of the helmet.

A pause in play while Michael Burgess has an injury assessment.

    He's fine to bat on.

  10. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 30 June

    Hampshire 119-3 v Kent

Matt Parkinson has been thrown the ball for the first time today. It's a sign of how the Kent seamers have lost a bit of control.

He offers up air off his final delivery and Ben Brown drives the leggie through offside for four.

Eathan Bosch is back into the attack.

Ben Foakes is forward and gets a thin edge as the ball drops short of gully.

An eventful over, costing just one run and setting a few Surrey pulses racing.

  12. wicket

WICKET Hurst c Stone b James 2published at 15:24 British Summer Time 30 June

    Lancashire 120-4 v Notts

Notts continue to chip away at the Lancashire batting line up this afternoon.

Matty Hurst had been tied down ever since he came to the crease and his departure is a tame one, chipping it to midwicket as he goes for two off 30 balls.

A first wicket for Lyndon James, who has 1-2 from four very economical overs.

  13. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 188-6

Width from Jack Leach and Michael Burgess is forward to drive through cover for four.

The seventh-wicket partnership is now worth 43.

  14. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 30 June

Jamie Smith picks up four more runs with a lovely flowing leg glance on the front foot to Shane Snater.

Paul Walter bowls a bouncer to Ben Foakes and a brilliant diving take from Michael Pepper stops any byes.

    Third slip goes out.

Foakes gets a single third ball to fine leg and Jamie Smith drives handsomely down the ground next ball for four.

50 partnershippublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 30 June

    Hampshire 107-3 v Kent

James Vince and Ben Brown are picking up the pace for Hampshire as they clock up a 50 partnership in 76 balls.

    Worrying times for Kent.

  16. DURHAM ALL OUT FOR 190published at 15:16 British Summer Time 30 June
    Breaking

    Potts b Smith 11

After picking up a beautifully cut four, Matthew Potts aims a big shot down the ground at Nathan Smith.

It beats the Durham batter and clips the off-stump bail and that's tea.

Worcestershire opted to bowl first and have made full use of the helpful conditions to dismiss the hosts' strong batting line-up in 48.3 overs.

The only downside is they now have to bat on a pitch which remains very, very green.

  17. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 182-6

Four more runs for Ed Barnard, back and across to Kasey Aldridge, nudging the bowler behind square on the off side.

Michael Burgess moves to 15 with a back foot cut through cover off Jack Leach.

Four more runs to Barnard, who gets forward to sweep the spinner behind square leg.

Warwickshire are quietly rebuilding after the loss of Will Rhodes and Jacob Bethell in quick succession this afternoon.

  18. Division Two latestpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 30 June

    #bbccricket

Leaders Sussex have not enjoyed the best of days and have been skittled for 143 inside 48 overs at Northampton.

Jack White (4-23) and Luke Procter (3-37) did the damage for Northants.

But it's been a great day so far for second-placed Middlesex who have dismissed Leicestershire for 179 at Grace Road, with Ryan Higgins and Toby Roland-Jones both ending one wicket short of a five-for.

Derbyshire have broken through as Luis Reece removes Finlay Bean for 29. The bad news? Yorkshire are 61-1 and just 15 behind on first innings.

And Glamorgan have moved to 17-0 in reply to Gloucestershire's 179.

  19. 50 runs

50 for James Vincepublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 30 June

    Hampshire 100-3 v Kent

    James VinceImage source, Getty Images

Don't bowl there to James Vince and certainly not when he has 49.

Nathan Gilchrist with a fullish delivery outside off and Vince does not miss out. Boundary number 11 and his third half-century of the summer.

It also brings up his team's 100.

  20. wicket

WICKET Burns c Pepper b Walter 26published at 15:11 British Summer Time 30 June

    Surrey 67-3 v Essex

Rory Burns leaves dangerously, padding up to Paul Walter as the ball jags into him off the seam but it's a bit high for the LBW.

    Got him this time!

Fourth stump line, drawing Rory Burns forward and a thin edge carries chest high to keeper Michael Pepper.

Now it's time for Ben Foakes to bat.
