Jos Buttler turns straight away and starts walking off because he thought it was plumb. The umpire won't want to see that one again.

It's a massive wicket for Phoenix.

    Jos Buttler out on review!

Bit of a strange one, with the Originals batter struck on the pads attempting a cute sweep having realised the ramp shot wasn't on.

Umpire James Middlebrook seems to start to raise his finger then turns it into a little spin motion.

Phoenix appeal and it shows the official should have stuck his digit all the way up, that's very out.

Rachin Ravindra is such a classy operator. He's one of my favourite players to watch at the moment.

He's got the explosiveness but if he can settle with Jos Buttler, then he can explode later in the innings.

Manchester Originals' batters have struggled against left-arm spin in this season's Hundred, their strike-rate of 107 facing slow left-arm is the lowest for any side and well below the tournament average of 131.

Rachin Ravindra in at number four, and he picks up four from his first delivery.

He places the ball past the fielder at short third.

Phil Salt will feel a little bit frustrated. It was full enough to get it into the stand he was aiming for, but it fell to Ben Duckett who takes a simple catch.

Maybe it's gripping in the surface already and that's why he's not timed it as well.

    Four and out!

Phil Salt powers Jacob Bethell through the covers, beating the diving fielder, but is gone from the following ball.

He skies a delivery out to Ben Duckett at long-on.

Liam Patterson-White takes a second set of five deliveries, but at the other end of the ground.

Phil Salt faces three dot balls before taking a single to bring new batter Jos Buttler on strike, and the England white-ball legend edges his first delivery through third for four.

That's the end of the powerplay.

Again, that ball from Liam Patterson-White is flat, hard and at the stumps and that makes it sound simple.

Ben McKinney has misjudged the length there.

    Gets the junior partner!

Ben McKinney hadn't managed to get going with Phil Salt dominating the strike, and he sees his stumps splayed by Liam Patterson-White from just his seventh delivery.

Meanwhile the Phoenix spinner has a wicket on his Hundred debut.

It's a simple catch for Liam Livingstone. Sometimes they can be awkward but he set himself well. I'm sure the crowd will let him know about that one, dropping his Lancashire teammate at Old Trafford.

    Should have been taken.

Phil Salt gets too much air on Liam Patterson-White's opening delivery, Liam Livingstone runs behind the bowler from mid-off and seems relatively set, but spills the chance.

The Originals skipper takes a single.

This is the fifth time Phil Salt has hit three or more sixes inside the powerplay in The Hundred, the most for any batter.

    He goes again!

A third six for Phil Salt, helping a bouncer from Trent Boult on its way over the fine leg ropes.

He's on 23 from 11 balls, Ben McKinney is on one from four.

Phil Salt's hit it a really long way, flat and hard. Those low full tosses can sometimes give you a bit of trouble.

    Another six for Phil Salt!

He smashes Trent Boult over the long-on boundary.

A good response from Adam Milne, shaping the ball away from Phil Salt's drive.

Some good carry as it goes through to Joe Clarke behind the stumps.

It felt like that was coming. It felt like Phil Salt was waiting for it.

It's another boundary going to that leg side.

    Six and four!

Phil Salt slams Adam Milne down the ground then pulls aerially over square and clears the ropes.

Very nearly the first wicket for the Phoenix but it falls just short of the fielder.

I wondered if Trent Boult would bowl 10 in a row but he looked to Liam Livingstone and said no.
