It shows how world cricket is moving on. Afghanistan are really powerful, really dangerous and are knocking out Test-playing nations. Sri Lanka are having their challenges, but New Zealand was a massive shock.

  2. Afg 0-0published at 0.2 overs

Fired in by Ashton Agar first up, no turn but some bounce for the spinner.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz thumps the next to backward point and Matthew Wade behind the stumps goes up in celebration... having completely missed the fact it was hit straight into the ground!

Ashton Agar has come in for Mitchell Starc and he's straight into the action.

We're used to seeing Starc bowl the first over for Australia, tonight it'll be Agar. What has the left-arm spinner got for us?

  6. India thrash Bangladesh to close on semi-finalspublished at 01:24 British Summer Time 23 June

India edged closer to the T20 World Cup semi-finals with a statement 50-run win over Bangladesh on Saturday.

Hardik Pandya's unbeaten half-century helped India post an imposing 196-5 after being put in to bat in Antigua.

Bangladesh's batting struggles continued in the chase as they stuttered to 146-8 in a curiously subdued effort, with leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav taking 3-19.

Quick bowler Tanzim Hasan's fiery double-wicket over and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto's 40 were the Tigers' only genuine performances of intent.

The win sees India remain unbeaten in the World Cup so far, alongside South Africa and Australia.

"What's done is done, we can't think about the game the day before yesterday (highlights above). It's more about the mindset now.

"We haven't spoken much, it's just about the execution. We need to make it correct which we didn't do against India.

Another night, another big game in this T20 World Cup - and by morning here in the UK, we could have two semi-finalists confirmed.

Australia face Afghanistan in St Vincent tonight knowing a win would secure them - and India - a last-four berth.

However, Rashid Khan's men are still right in the mix and, with Australia facing India in the last round of Super 8s games, two wins for Afghanistan could well see them through to the semis.

Which way will it go? We'll find out over the next few hours...
