The captain has decided that it's his turn to get the much-needed wicket.

If it was going to be anyone, it was going to be Liam Livingstone.

What a brilliant innings from Zak Crawley. He has given the Superchargers the start that they exactly needed.

    Birmingham Phoenix get the breakthrough.

Zak Crawley runs down the pitch to Liam Livingstone who spins the ball away from his swipe with a leg break.

Joe Clarke does the rest behind the stumps.

  5. Superchargers 67-0published at 30 balls

Benny Howell into the attack for Birmingham Phoenix.

Howell, of course, is the only player in The Hundred born in France.

It's a box of tricks from Howell but Zak Crawley and Dawid Malan knock it round and pick up five wides after an attempted paddle by the former misses the ball but it races away down the leg side to the boundary.

    Hold the pose!

Zak Crawley hit it through the line, he maybe hit it a bit high on the bat, but it had the distance!

Brilliant shot from Zak Crawley, again. Low full toss from Trent Boult and Crawley pierces the bat.

  8. 6 runs

    Superchargers 57-0published at 25 balls

High and handsome from Zak Crawley.

He barely seems to hit a straight drive from Trent Boult over his head but it has enough on it to get over the rope.

Crawley follows it up with four consecutive fours. The first a fortuitous slash to a slower which races through third but the rest are emphatic - two of them hammered through the covers.

Zak Crawley needs to kick on.

There's not long left in the powerplay and you need to push the score past 35 ideally.

Crawley has made those last two balls count. He is not going to miss out on them.

    Much-needed boundaries!

  10. 6 runs

    Superchargers 32-0published at 20 balls

    Classic Zak.

The tall England opener fetches one from Adam Milne on or slightly outside off stump and whips it across the line for four.

Next ball, Crawley rocks on to his heels on hooks Milne for six over square leg.

Crawley has 20 off 14 balls.

Throughout the course of The Hundred, no ground has seen a higher batting average (25.90) or a faster scoring rate (1.6 runs per ball) than we have seen at Headingley.

It is the only ground with a boundary percentage (20.7%) over the 20% threshold, meaning it’s the only ground to see more than one boundary on average, per set of five balls.

  12. Superchargers 22-0published at 15 balls

A decent start from Northern Superchargers as Liam Livingstone prepares to introduce Adam Milne into the attack.

It is important to keep ticking that scoreboard over.

A very Zak Crawley-esque shot, standing tall, driving it through extra and mid-off.

He plays that shot very well.

  14. Superchargers 19-0published at 13 balls

    Trent Boult continues.

Zak Crawley picks up one on a length from the Kiwi left-arm quick and hammers it wide of mid-off for four.

A bit unfortunate, but there was width on offer from Tim Southee. Dawid Malan finds the bottom end of the bat and it beats deep third.

  17. Superchargers 12-0published at 10 balls

A more productive over for the Superchargers off Tim Southee.

They start with four leg byes before Dawid Malan flashes at wide one and the ball flashes away through third for a boundary.

Really good start here with the ball.

Trent Boult's length to Zak Crawley has been good and he hasn't given much, but the Superchargers will want to make full use of this powerplay.

  19. Superchargers 1-0published at 5 balls

Zak Crawley digs out another yorker from Trent Boult and manages to scramble a single off the final ball of the set.

Zak Crawley has had a decent start to the Hundred. He scored a blistering 67 against Welsh Fire and in the last game he got 29. He has been striking the ball pretty well.
