I'm not saying Chris Woakes has managed to get access to the texts we receive but he has exclusively bowled full and straight to number 11 Will O'Rourke so far.

His record overseas might not be great but he's doing what the majority of you have been calling for right now.

Mitchell can be more flamboyant than he's shown in this innings, but this has been an innings of determined resistance. It's a marker for him and the Black Caps.

Will O'Rourke is off the mark by pushing through mid-on.

He must have thought there was two available but has to settle for a single so he'll be on strike for the start of the next over.

Joe Root has been at slip, short leg and now out in the deep. He took that nicely. It was a case of third time unlucky for Tim Southee after two big shots which brought him sixes.
