    Ecclestone c Dercksen b Mlaba 2 (Eng 151-8)

Top-edged sweep and comfortably taken in the deep.

There is little point in just hanging around and batting the overs so Sophie Ecclestone tries to get after Nonkululeko Mlaba.

It doesn't come off, though, as the ball carries out to Annerie Dercksen at deep mid-wicket.

The end is nigh for England.

England have been outplayed in all aspects of the game. Sometimes you are just beaten.

Had Laura Wolvaardt not got a century, England would have been chasing 220. England have just been beaten by better play.

Drinks come on with the game now meandering towards its conclusion.

England might well look to move on for some players after this tournament but if there was anyone hammering the door down to get into the side, they'd be in the squad already.

The game is as good as gone. England are just waiting for the coup de grâce.

Not sure I entirely agree with Mark or James, I think there have been signs of improvement in this tournament but it's clear that, even with those improvements, they are still battling with South Africa and India to be seen as the second best team in the world rather than looking capable of challenging Australia.

There will be plenty of time for a full review in the days to come but today, I think they have essentially been beaten by a phenomenal innings from a world class player.

England are a 'just average' team. Not a criticism just a fact. SA are an inconsistent team capable of brilliance. This result is proof. Smashed by Australia, SA have dominated England on the flip side. Another failure on the world stage will hopefully mean a full-scale rebuild. A lot of players found out in this tournament.

Dreadful once again from England when the pressure is on. Nothing has changed.

The game might be up but it doesn't mean Danni Wyatt-Hodge can't have a bit of fun first.

She clatters a short, wide 'hit me' ball from Chloe Tryon to the boundary.

  9. Eng 144-7published at 31 overs

    Target 320

Sophie Ecclestone calmly sees off the hat-trick ball and then, despite a misfield at short third, England turn down the single.

It means it's a double wicket maiden for Marizanne Kapp. Her second of the day.

This game is over, South Africa are heading through to the World Cup final. It's just a matter of when, rather than if, it is confirmed.

    Five-for for Marizanne Kapp!

It's practically a replay of the ball before and Charlie Dean is gone for a golden duck.

Good length, movement way from the right-hander and feathered behind.

Kapp becomes the leading wicket-taker in Women's World Cups and she's on a hat-trick as well.

A thin outside edge goes through to the keeper. Sophia Dunkley has not had the tournament she would have wanted with the bat.

    It has ended in disappointment.

  15. wicket

    Dunkley c Jafta b Kapp 2 (Eng 144-6)

Edged and gone, Marizanne Kapp has another one.

Very similar to the Nat Sciver-Brunt dismissal as Sophia Dunkley sends a thin nick through to the wicketkeeper.

The England batter walks with the umpire unmoved. No point hanging around if you know you've hit when UltraEdge is there.

Sophia Dunkley struggles to get Chloe Tryon away before, after five dot balls, she gets the last out to deep point for a single.

  18. dropped catch

Dunkley dropped on 0published at 29 overs

    Eng 143-5 | Target 320

Lovely shot from Danni Wyatt-Hodge to end the over, whipping flamboyantly over square leg for four.

But Sophia Dunkley got a lucky the ball before with an edge that went to the right of Sinalo Jafta.

The South Africa wicketkeeper dives to hand a glove on it but can't hold on and the ball runs down to deep third for a single.

Had that been taken then it really would have been game over.

That was a strange delivery. It pitched up and Nat Sciver-Brunt looked to play it leg-side, but it felt like there was a gap between bat and ball.

She walked off straight away however.
