Sciver-Brunt caught behind for 64 as England hopes begin to fade

That, almost certainly now, could be that.

Nat Sciver-Brunt feathers behind trying to work Marizanne Kapp to leg.

The ball was angled in at the stumps but nips away to take the edge through to Sinalo Jafta.

England's captain walks off and her side's hopes of reaching the final likely go with her.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is such a fine competitor. There is no way she is going down without a fight.

When she stops however, she will collapse in a heap. She looks exhausted.

    Target 320

Well, I'd like to see another replay of this because I think England might have been done out of a couple of runs.

Nat Sciver-Brunt thumps the ball down the ground, past mid-off but Nadine de Klerk comes racing around from long-on and makes a diving stop.

However, it looks like the ball then rolls and hits her while she is still lying on the boundary cushion.

Two given but you have to assume the third umpire had more replays than we saw and decided otherwise...

    That'll help!

Top shot from Danni Wyatt-Hodge to hit the ball up and over extra cover for four.

Just the start to the over England would have wanted.

  5. Eng 130-4published at 27 overs

    Target 320

Width on offer to end the over and Danni Wyatt-Hodge clatters it square, but straight at the point fielder.

A fumble allows them to run a single so it's seven from the over. The required rate is up above eight now, though.

That did not look like the shot of someone who has hardly played in this tournament. A beautiful shot from Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

These two are going to have to force the bulk of the partnership.

  7. Eng 127-4published at 26.1 overs

    Target 320

As if to prove Rufus' point, Danni Wyatt-Hodge expertly guides Marizanne Kapp's first ball back down to deep third for four.

    Superbly played.

I'm not sure when Kapp came back onto the field but she was off for a while so she must have snuck back on a little while ago if she is clear to bowl again.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge is a master at scoring through backward point and third.

In ODI cricket against pace bowling, she scores 30.3% of her runs behind square on the off side - the highest of any player globally - even higher than Meg Lanning (29.5%).

  9. Eng 123-4published at 26 overs

    Target 320

Quiet over as England take four singles from Chloe Tryon's third over.

How many is the most England think they can chase in the last 10 overs? If they're only four or five down, maybe 100? 120 at a push?

  10. Postpublished at 14:58 GMT 29 October

    Thanks, Elizabeth.

England have got a lot of work to do but they will still believe they can chase these down.

In fact, South Africa were also on 119 after 25, albeit only two down. They did lose their third soon after, though.

England just have to hope Nat Sciver-Brunt can bat for as long as Laura Wolvaardt did. If she does then they might just get close...

    Target 320

Well, this is set up quite nicely. South Africa were 119-2 after 25 overs and England are 119-4. Can they match Laura Wolvaardt's acceleration?

Sam Drury will be your guide.

  12. dropped catch

    Dropped catch - Sciver-Brunt on 54published at 24.2 overs

That was a difficult chance for Tazmin Brits, going one-handed above her head at mid-wicket.

And the opener stayed down, holding her right shoulder, after hitting the ground hard.

The physio was quickly by her side and she's now walking off holding her arm to her body.

  13. Eng 112-4published at 24 overs

    Target 320

Chloe Tryon concedes three singles. She's starting to jam up one end.

The required rate is at eight an over.

  14. Eng 109-4published at 23 overs

    Target 320

And so, England have to rebuild again.

At least Nat Sciver-Brunt (53 off 60) is well and truly in.

The pressure was getting to Alice Capsey. Having already been dropped, she knows she has thrown her wicket away.

She did the really difficult, mature bit and that is so frustrating in these circumstances.

'She can't believe what she's done!' - Capsey 'skews' shot straight to de Klerk at mid-off

Oh no! It's the first ball Alice Capsey has faced since reaching 50 and she's picked out Nadine de Klerk at mid-off. It's a tame dismissal and she knows it, putting her hands to her helmet before walking off.

    The fourth-wicket partnership - worth 107 (130) - is broken.
