Thanks Matt. To clarify, we do have more than one chair...

Anyway, that was fun, wasn't it? A busy powerplay, a bit of a lull in the middle, and then a great innings from Jacob Bethell. It'll be a tough chase for West Indies.

That is the fourth time England have scored 400 in England and sixth time overall.

It's only the second time they have done so since the 2019 World Cup. The other time was against the Netherlands in 2022.

They have never lost an ODI when scoring 400, if you're wondering.

It goes through the wicketkeeper, it's four byes and England will do it!

An all-round batting performance. Contributions from everyone in top seven. The mood was set with a free-flowing powerplay.

It felt right for England to end on 400. It looked inevitable with three overs to go.

    Four byes to finish!

England do get to 400 off the very last ball. Not a bad way to kickstart a new era, ey...

  12. Eng 396-8published at 49.5 overs

Good bowling. Again Jayden Seales concedes only a single.

    Big finish from Brydon?

  13. Eng 395-8published at 49.4 overs

Now all Carse can manage is a scampered single. 400 might not happen.

A wild swing and a miss from Carse...

West Indies might be having a shocker at bowling but nearly every single catch has been top draw. So impressive.

Bethell's gone! He's not going to get his 100. England might not get their 400. West Indies are coming back into this in the last couple of overs.

Bethell's getting a big hand. He's very popular in these parts. It's been a super knock.

It was clever bowling. A little tickle.

    Bethell c Hope b Seales 82 (Eng 393-8)

Well that ends that! Jacob Bethell nicks behind a slower, wider ball.

There will be no century today but Bethell gets a huge ovation for a superb 82 from 53 balls.

Jayden Seales will bowl the last. Bethell is on strike.
