    Oh dear.

Brandon King gets a little edge straight through to Jos Buttler and after a theatrical pause, Kumar Dharmasena raises his finger. It's a lovely delivery from Brydon Carse.

West Indies have lost two wickets inside four overs.

England have piled the pressure on early, as if the runs on the board weren't enough.

For West Indies, Jewel Andrew may come in at five, despite the scorecard having him in at seven.

  4. WI 8-1published at 3 overs

    Target 401

Saqib Mahmood has an early wicket and he could have had a second, with Keacy Carty nearly chopping onto his stumps.

It's not the start West Indies would have wanted.

Something was going to give here at some stage. Justin Greaves hit higher on the bat than he would have anticipated and it was a pretty easy catch by Brook, who will be very pleased with his team so far.

England have bowled with nice intent. When you have a good number of runs on the board, it allows you to go out there with freedom.

The wind will play a factor but they have been right on the money.

Not out. A good review from Justin Greaves.

It's going to be a busy evening for Matt and I if every over is that hectic.

  15. WI 7-0published at 0.5 overs

It's a lively start to West Indies' chase.

Off just the second ball of the innings, Saqib Mahmood is appealing with gusto with his arms in the air.

Adil Rashid, all 37 years of him, then charges around the rope and saves a boundary with a rolling, diving stop.

West Indies still run three and Justin Greaves follows it up with a streaky four.

West Indies know they need a quick start here. That's what England did really well, it allowed them to keep the pressure on a get their high score.

The players are out in the middle. Saqib Mahmood is taking his jumper off - looks like he'll be opening the bowling.

West Indies need 401 to win at Edgbaston. Can they do it? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

A good score shared by the entire top 7 but nothing big. I want to see some daddy scores over the next few games. Time for the bowlers now - get to work!
