  1. 'The nerves will be jangling'published at 14:28 British Summer Time

    Glos 8-1 - target 162

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It isn't the ideal start for the hosts.

Having not won here for so long, the nerves will be jangling.

They just needed a calm start.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time

    Charlesworth c Leaning b Gilchrist 1 (Glos 8-1 - target 162)

Now then... Do we have a game on?

Nathan Gilchrist gets one to nip away from Ben Charlesworth and it narrowly misses the outside edge.

The very next ball, Charlesworth pushes at one just outside off and does nick off this time.

It flies to Jack Leaning's left at second slip but he manages to dive and take it low down. An excellent grab and a nervy start to this run chase for Gloucestershire.

  3. Postpublished at 14:26 British Summer Time

    Derbys 98-2 - target 329

Lancashire keeping it tight but without a breakthough.

A single from George Balderson's sixth over is followed by a tight six balls from Tom Bailey which cost a single apiece to Harry Came (38) and Wayne Madsen (8)

  4. Drissell goes close to a breakthroughpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 222-4 - trail by 35

Durham skipper Alex Lees gets his way as the umpires agree to change a ball which is 52.5 overs old.

James Minto serves up a full toss with it first up and Joe Clarke takes another single.

Danger from George Drissell who beats the outside edge of Clarke's bat with a beauty.

More turn for an exasperated Drissell and it beats Jack Haynes, stumps and wicketkeeper for three byes. Ollie Robinson seems to indicate it may have hit the stump without dislodging the bail.

  5. Postpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time

    Glos 6-0 - target 162

The required run rate for Gloucestershire to knock these off on this final day is around 2.79.

  6. Postpublished at 14:22 British Summer Time

    Glos 6-0 - target 162

Six runs off the first over for Gloucestershire and that'll do just nicely for the hosts to get them going.

Kent are going to need early wickets and wickets aplenty to save this game.

  8. Gloucestershire require 162 runs to winpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time

    Glos 0-0 - target 162

Here we go then. Jake Ball with the first over for Kent. Gloucestershire captain Cameron Bancroft and Ben Charlesworth are at the crease.

  9. Postpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time

    Derbys 95-2 - target 329

Lancashire skipper Marcus Harris shuffles his pack and gives James Anderson a breather after a four-over burst.

Decent figures of 4-2-4-1. It takes Anderson to 10 overs for the innings, after bowling 12 in the first Derbyshire knock.

Tom Bailey comes on at the Sir James Anderson End and cedes three runs.

  10. Glos aiming for first home win in three seasonspublished at 14:17 British Summer Time

    Glos 516 & target 162 v Kent 424 & 253)

Tom Price ends with 2-59 from 16.4 overs for Gloucestershire, while Josh Shaw and Ajeet Singh Dale also take two apiece.

But Ben Charlesworth's three wickets from his six overs to remove Grant Stewart, Jaydn Denly and Jake Ball were certainly the vital wickets that swung the game fully into Gloucestershire's favour.

Charlesworth ended with excellent figures of 3-5.

Can they get the job done in this run chase? A first win of the season and first win on home soil since September 2022 beckons.

  11. Postpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 216-4 - trail by 41

Jack Haynes plays into the legside for a single to break a chain of 10 successive dots to George Drissell.

More swing for James Minto, but it goes way down leg and beats wicketkeeper Ollie Robinson for that's four byes.

A single apiece from Joe Clarke and Haynes brings the deficit down to 41.

  12. 'Gloucestershire well in position to win'published at 14:11 British Summer Time

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 253

    Aaron Bryans
    Test Match Special commentator

Ben Charlesworth was the star of the show, he was the catalyst.

An excellent way from Price to round off the innings, it was a spectacular grab from Green.

Gloucestershire are well in a position to win the game.

  13. Anderson maidenpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time

    Derbys 91-2 - target 329

Tidy stuff from George Balderson who picks up a maiden off Wayne Madsen thanks to some athletic efforts in the field.

James Anderson almost sneaks one onto the pads of Harry Came but an inside edge saves the batter. A solid defensive push ends the over.

The bowling is tight. Back-to-back maidens.

The required run rate pushes up around the four an over mark.

  14. wicket

KENT ALL OUT FOR 253published at 14:08 British Summer Time

    Benjamin c Green b Price 58 (Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 253 - lead by 161 runs)

What a catch by Cameron Green!

Chris Benjamin comes down the track to Tom Price and tries to drive but it finds the outside edge and flies to Green's right at second slip.

He dives and takes an excellent one-handed grab low to the ground at full stretch.

A fitting catch to match Gloucestershire's bowling display and they'll need 162 runs to get their first win of the season.

  15. 'It will do down to the wire'published at 14:07 British Summer Time

    Derbys 91-2 - target 329

    Dave Fletcher
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

Tidy stuff from Lancashire since lunch.

It's all about supressing the run rate which could make it very tricky for Derbyshire.

The key for them is to not lose too many wickets, it will go down to the wire.

  16. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 252-9 - lead by 160 runs

Chris Benjamin takes a quick single off the last ball of Ajeet Singh Dale's over and he's struggling to make his ground...

Cameron Green races in from extra cover to make the throw but can't hit the stumps.

Benjamin would have been a long way out if that had hit.

He then takes a single off the first ball of Tom Price's over and it's number 11 Nathan Gilchrist back on strike.

  17. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 206-4 - trail by 51

Jack Haynes plays out a maiden to George Drissell to tick off another over.

We have a minimum of 62 scheduled overs to play.

  18. Postpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time

    Derbys 91-2 - target 329

James Anderson runs in for his third over of the session, but there no great alarm for Harry Came or Wayne Madsen.

Came dabs into the offside to go to 37 and a flick off the pads brings Madsen his second run.

Derbyshire need 238 more to win.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Joe Clarkepublished at 14:00 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 206-4 - trail by 51

    Joe ClarkeImage source, Rex Features

    Well played, Joe Clarke.

A nicely-timed shot brings Clarke two more and gives him a 40th first-class fifty and the first of a tough season.

It has come at a good tempo off 58 balls.

  20. 250 runs

250 up for Kentpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 250-9 - lead by 158 runs

Chris Benjamin pushes one into the offside from Tom Price. He wants to come back for two to keep the strike but it's not on.

Not the most convincing 250 runs Kent will ever score and in the context of the game, it's far from enough you'd think.
