That was a really good over and just the single coming off it. It was good from Bangladesh to follow up after the classy stumping of Laura Wolvaardt.

It's an interesting time now as South Africa will be keen to get this done and get themselves into the first position of the group.

  3. SA 24-1published at 4 overs

Is that a missed catch from Joty? Anneke Bosch swings and the skipper can't hold it. Was there an edge? It's not clear but there are a few hands on heads in the field.

Laura Wolvaardt comes down the track and gets stumped by the captain, Nigar Sultana Joty.

Fahima Khatun does her trademark dance celebration - it's exactly what Bangladesh needed.

Lovely stuff from Fahima Khatun! She lures Laura Wolvaardt, who'd just hit a boundary, down the track and captain Nigar Sultana Joty does the rest with a regulation stumping.

  6. SA 18-0published at 2.1 overs

Fahima Khatun has the chance to make amends for that drop, taking the third over with her leg spin.

But there's more poor fielding straight away when Laura Wolvaardt's drive goes straight through Marufa Akter.

  7. SA 17-0published at 2 overs

Tazmin Brits rubs that dropped chance in by clubbing a four over mid off, then sweeping the ball to fine leg for another boundary.

  8. 'Disappointing for Bangladesh'published at 16:46 British Summer Time 12 October

    Sonia Twigg
Test Match Special commentator on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

A good dive and Fahima Khatun got two hands to it, but spilled it! That will be so disappointing for Bangladesh.

That's a big chance to get one of South Africa's key batters.

  9. dropped catch

Wolvaardt dropped on onepublished at 1.2 overs

Laura Wolvaardt gets away with one, a slice into the off side is dropped at point by Fahima Khatun - heads drop throughout the Bangladesh side.

  10. SA 8-0published at 1.1 overs

The first is a fine example of the left-arm spinner's art - tossed up outside off and prompting a wild swing from Wolvaardt.

  11. SA 8-0published at 1 over

Laura Wolvardt is under way with a pull backwards of square leg.

Eight from that first over, while the second will be delivered by Nahida Akter.

  12. 'Bangladesh retain the review'published at 16:41 British Summer Time 12 October

    Sonia Twigg
Test Match Special commentator on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Bangladesh retain the review which is important.

  13. Not outpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 12 October

    SA 7-0

It was only clipping the very outside of leg stump - Tazmin Brits survives on umpire's call, but Bangladesh retain their review.

They ran a leg-bye so Wolvaardt gets back on strike.

  15. 'Lovely timing'published at 16:39 British Summer Time 12 October

    Nikesh Rughani
BBC Test Match Special commentator on BBC Sounds

Lovely bit of timing from Tazmin Brits.

She was leaning back and it was slightly short, but it swung on to the middle of her bat.

  16. SA 6-0published at 0.1 over

Not a great start - it's a wide down leg side to begin with and then off the first legitimate ball, Tazmin Brits guides it down to the boundary at third.

  17. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 12 October

    Target: 107

Righto, Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits have strutted out to the middle and Bangladesh's Marufa Akter is set to send down the first over.

  18. 'T20 World Cup is just the start for Scotland'published at 16:34 British Summer Time 12 October

More from Scotland's Lister: "Obviously the conditions are tough. It's easy to get wrapped up in the World Cup and the pressures of it as well. I still feel like we've not played our best cricket.

"We were joking at breakfast this morning, a couple of the players have started branching out and speaking to some of the bigger players that we've watched on TV for years now.

"This is definitely the start of something exciting. We'll always remember this one as the first one but there are a lot of us that are excited for what's to come."

Scotland's Ailsa Lister has been speaking to BBC Sport before their final group match against England on Sunday.

"We're buzzing to go and it's always good to play against these these top nations so we're really excited," she said.

"There's something about being a Scottish person when you play England in any sport, it's always exciting.

"Singing that anthem on that first day was an incredible feeling and to be honest that was probably the moment that I was looking forward to the most when we first arrived."

  20. 'Bangladesh will be encouraged'published at 16:32 British Summer Time 12 October

    Sonia Twigg

Bangladesh will be encouraged with how they finished. It's a shame they weren't able to take the risk earlier on.
