  1. South Africa need 107 to winpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 12 October

Thanks Tim - I don't think I've been called 'wise' before...

That was a decent finish by Bangladesh, but defending 106 off 20 overs is a tough ask.

It definitely feels like Bangladesh left a few runs out there. They seemed to be playing catch-up after a disappointing powerplay.

South Africa will be looking to chase this as quick as possible. How quick? We will find out shortly with the wise Tim Oscroft on hand to guide you through proceedings from this point.

  3. Ban 106-3published at 20 overs

Bangladesh finish with 10 from the final over from Ayabonga Khaka, but no boundaries, which will please South Africa.

  4. Ban 101-3published at 19.3 overs

A little fortuitous as Nigar Sultana Joty swipes to leg and top edges the ball over South Africa wicketkeeper Sinalo Jafta's head and she sets off in pursuit.

    Joty picks up a couple.

  5. Ban 97-3published at 19.1 overs

Ayabonga Khaka will bowl the last over for South Africa. A single to start from Shorna Akter.

  6. Ban 96-3published at 19 overs

Nadine de Klerk with a back-of-the-hand slower ball which brings a filthy swipe from Shorna Akter and the ball loop up but drops short of point.

Next ball and Nigar Sultana Joty thrashes one through the covers on the up and just beats the leap of the fielder.

  7. Ban 83-3published at 18 overs

Shorna Akter with a slap down the ground but the fielder at long-off ensures it's just a single at the end of the over.

Nonkululeko Mlaba finishes with a miserly 1-11 from her four overs.

There's 12 balls left in Bangladesh's innings. Have they left too many runs out there? It's been a very conservative approach.

    Mostary b Mlaba 38 (Ban 81-3)

    Nonkululeko Mlaba strikes!

With three overs left Sobhana Mostary comes down the track to the South Africa left-arm spinner and goes for an almighty heave-ho across the line.

Mlaba's delivery skips off the pitch and spins from leg to middle before clattering into the stumps.

  9. Ban 81-2published at 17 overs

A bag of liquorice all sorts from Chloe Tryon in her third over, including three wides. A bit yippy, even. She does not seem overly fussed and manages a smile.

Back to Nonkululeko Mlaba, who will bowl her final six balls.

  10. 'South Africa can't let it slip'published at 16:13 British Summer Time 12 October

It was a difficult chance diving forward for Annerie Dercksen. It would have been an unbelievable catch.

South Africa are getting a little messy in this last five minutes. They're in a commanding position, but they can't let it slip.

  11. Ban 73-2published at 16 overs

Nonkululeko Mlaba continues and concedes a rare boundary after being whacked down the ground by Nigar Sultana Joty. Chloe Tryon produced a brilliant diving effort on the fence but just touches the boundary sponge.

Joty is dropped off the final ball of the over by Annerie Dercksen at backward point. Mlaba is not best pleased.

    Four overs to go.

  12. 'It must be frustrating'published at 16:07 British Summer Time 12 October

    Kirstie Gordon
England bowler on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It must be frustrating as Bangladesh are only two wickets down, but they're cruising along for four runs per over.

With only five overs left Bangladesh need to try take the game on now.

Marizanne Kapp returns to bowl her final over.

Sobhana Mostary and Nigar Sultana Joyty feel emboldened to to take her on but the former is rather fortunate not to pick the fielder out in the deep with a slog towards long-on.

South Africa's spinners have turned the screw here. Involved with the Proteas women's coaching setup is former South Africa men's spinner Paul Adams.

For those of you unaware he had quite a bowling action which was described as being "like a frog in a blender".

You can make your own mind up...

Out of the back of the hand from Nadine de Klerk and it floated a bit fuller than she intended - Sobhana Mostary doesn't mis out.

It's a better over again from Bangladesh and they're capitalising on the one bad ball to get the boundary.

They're dealing well with the seamers, but can they deal with the spin of Mlaba?

  16. Ban 59-2published at 13 overs

The visor on Nigar Sultana Joty helmet is pulled down low over her eyes but it's Sobhana Mostary who is showing the most intent here.

Mostary powerfully biffs Nadine de Klerk down the ground for four.

  17. 'Great over from Mlaba'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 12 October

    Kirstie Gordon
England bowler on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Nonkululeko Mlaba has bowled really nicely and really tight. Again Bangladesh seem to have no plan - Joty is under real pressure.

It was another great over from Mlaba and she's showing why she is the leading wicket-taker in this T20 World Cup.

  18. Ban 50-2published at 12 overs

Nonkululeko Mlaba, hooped earrings glistening under the floodlights, is offering very few scoring opportunities to the Bangladesh batters.

Nigar Sultana Joty advances down the track to Mlaba's final ball of the over initially thinking about going over the top, perhaps, but changes her mind and dabs the ball into the offside.
