Pakistan captain Fatima Sana: "We would have batted too because of the net run-rate which is the main thing for us. But we know what we need to do.

"We had a great series win against New Zealand last time we played them, so that gives us a lot of confidence in this game."

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine: "We are going to bat first. I think we did a great job against India batting first in the first match. The surface might deteriorate as the night goes on, so we want to post a good score and hopefully defend it.

"It's a new game and a new opposition. You can't get carried away with it. Pakistan also have a lot to play for. We know we have to go out there and play our best to hopefully go forward in this tournament.

"Knowing what we need to do helps, but at the end of the day, we have to win games of cricket, and that hasn't changed for us from game to game four here. We know exactly what is at stake, but we need to focus on every ball in this match."

Sophie Devine chooses to bat first in Dubai, and confirms that spinner Fran Jonas is into their line-up for the only change from their previous encounter against Sri Lanka.

    Good afternoon!

The group stages are coming to a close, but semi-final places are still up for grabs. Australia have sealed their place (obviously) from the top of Group A, and now is time to find out whether New Zealand can join them.

The equation is pretty simple for the White Ferns: win, and they're through. A defeat brings India back into contention, and while Pakistan are not mathematically out, they need to win by quite some margin to improve their net run-rate.

    It's all to play for...
