Top shot from Tumi Sekhukhune to get off the mark.

A half-volley from Lauren Bell and Sekhukhune drives through the covers with real panache!

In at number nine, you fancy she feels she could bat a little higher.

That feels like a big moment to me.

The South African faces in the changing room don't look as cheery as they did an hour ago.

Chloe Tryon can't believe what she's done here. Sometimes she can play across her front pad because her head topples over onto the offside and her bat comes across her.

She's so disappointed with that dismissal. She was looking pretty comfortable at the crease.

For South Africa, that's another experienced and decent batter gone.

    Tryon c Beaumont b Bell 20 (SA 271-7)

    A tame dismissal.

Having been worked over by Lauren Filer, Chloe Tryon succumbs to Lauren Bell.

Very full from Bell and on the stumps, and Tryon just chips it to mid-on as she tries to flick it through the leg side.

A simple catch for Tammy Beaumont and England are into the bowlers.

It's been a nice battle to watch: Jafta, the new batter in, against the new ball of Lauren Filer, who's bowling quickly. She's dealt with it pretty well so far.

  6. SA 271-6published at 85 overs

Chloe Tryon's hands are taking a battering from Lauren Filer.

The England fast bowler gets another ball to nip back from back of a length, leaping out of the surface a touch to thud into the South African's bottom hand.

It's a definitely an interesting passage of play.

There's been a few balls that have not carried through to Amy Jones but she just gets in such good positions. If you watch her footwork when she's moving laterally, it allows her top half to get in a strong position to take the ball cleanly.

She's absolutely the best in the world behind the sticks.

Lauren Filer hasn't added to that yet in this over with Sinalo Jafta getting four through square leg first ball.

There is a delay after the second because of an issue with the sightscreen. It should be white but the black screen remains and so the groundstaff hurry over to pull across a white curtain.

    We're ready to go again.

Lauren Filer has found the edge or drawn a play and miss on 17 occasions in this Test - more than any other bowler so far.

Superb from Lauren Bell. Swinging the ball back in ever so slightly to Chloe Tryon before getting it to nip away off the seam.

    Just past the outside edge.

Tryon is unfazed, though, and waits for an overpitched delivery before nailing it through extra cover for four.

From a batting point of view for South Africa, they have got players who can occupy the crease. But with Test matches only being four days, they'll be mindful of keeping the scoreboard moving as well.

Sinalo Jafta is the new batter for South Africa and Lauren Filer immediately tests her with some short stuff.

The second ball she faces just glances the top of Jafta's helmet as she tries to duck under it and, after a quick concussion check, the new batter is happy to see a fuller ball that she can drive for two.

Another bouncer follows and this time Jafta does manage to sway clear of it.

    A dangerous - and wicket-taking over - from Filer.

That's why Lauren Filer can be so, so potent. You want this type of bowler to come in, take the new ball straight away, and understand what she can do. And that is the perfect length.

Lauren Filer finds the edge! That's the wicket England wanted.

It's a full delivery, just outside off to entice the drive from Sune Luus.

The bat face closed just a little as she played it and a thin nick goes through to Amy Jones for a regulation catch behind.

England will hope to get through South Africa's lower order quickly now.

  15. SA 258-5published at 82 overs

Just a single from Lauren Bell's over as Sune Luus pushes the last ball out to deep cover.

The South Africa batter missed out on a full toss earlier in the over but will keep strike for the next over.

We've got a delay between overs as the physio comes out to apply the magic spray to Chloe Tryon's thumb.

It took quite the whack from that Lauren Filer bouncer.

The short ball did catch Chloe Tryon off guard but Filer eased the pressure with those wider deliveries and the new ball really did fly off the bat. Combined with Filer's pace, it doesn't take much to reach the boundary.

  18. SA 258-5published at 81 overs

Full and wide from Lauren Filer to end the over and Chloe Tryon jumps on it.

She throws the bat at it and hits up, over backward point for four.

When Lauren Filer is bowling, good things happen, interesting and exciting cricket. I'm not saying the rest of it hasn't been...

  20. ouch!

    SA 253-5published at 80.1 overs

Vicious ball to start from Lauren Filer!

Banged in short and it jags back to hit Chloe Tryon. The ball deflects into the leg side and Tryon is delighted to get down the other end with a single.

I think that came off the glove but it was wide of Tammy Beaumont, who is quite deep at short leg.
