  1. Eng 147-2published at 15.2 overs

Again, England keep mixing things up.

Left-handed Freya Kemp is in at four, and drives her first ball to the ropes. As you do.

You cannot underestimate the previous over from Amelia Kerr which put the pressure on. It's a very good knock from Nat Sciver-Brunt and given England a brilliant platform.

    Sciver-Brunt c A Kerr b Carson 47 (Eng 143-2)

Nat Sciver-Brunt falls just short of her half-century.

An entertaining innings comes to an end as she tries to keep the boundaries flowing, but picks out Amelia Kerr at deep square.

47 from 23 balls has given England a platform from which they can go ballistic.

When you have that platform it's easy to do what Nat Sciver-Brunt is doing by coming out and playing with freedom. It's where she is so outstanding. They are pretty risk-free shots as well. She has been simply quite brilliant to watch.

  5. Eng 143-1published at 15 overs

    Cricket is cruel, isn't it?

Amelia Kerr finally gets one to grip and bounce, but it beats both Wyatt and the keeper to run away for four byes.

  6. dropped catch

Wyatt dropped on 54published at 14.3 overs

    Eng 138-1

    Oh, tough one.

Wyatt slashes at a wide-ish delivery and Eden Carson dives full-stretch at point, gets one hand on it but it bursts out as she hits the turf.

Would've been spectacular if it had stuck.

To put any pressure on, New Zealand need to get one of these two out. You have to use your best bowlers to break partnerships

  8. Eng 135-1published at 14.1 overs

    They heard you, Alex.

    Here's Amelia Kerr.

I am really surprised New Zealand haven't bowled Amelia Kerr again to try to break this partnership.

  10. Eng 134-1published at 14 overs

I can't type quickly enough to keep up with the boundaries.

Sciver-Brunt whacks one down the ground before Wyatt slashes another one through the covers.

I wonder if Sophie Devine is regretting the decision to bowl first yet?

  11. How's stat?!published at 15:24 British Summer Time 6 July

Danni Wyatt has now scored 15 half-centuries in T20 internationals. She has two hundreds.

    Great fifty from Danni Wyatt.

  13. 50 runs

50 for Danni Wyattpublished at 13.2 overs

    Eng 125-1

A single down the ground brings up Danni Wyatt's half-century from 36 balls.

It has been a classy knock, especially considering she didn't bat in any of the ODIs.

Too good from Nat Sciver-Brunt. Just too good.

  15. Eng 123-1published at 13 overs

    Honestly, who'd be a bowler?

Fran Jonas changes the field, changes the plan to bowl straighter.

So of course, Sciver-Brunt reverse-sweeps for four more.

    Brutal.

At the moment these two do not look like they are ever getting out.

  17. Eng 118-1published at 12.4 overs

Fran Jonas starts well, just missing off stump as Sciver-Brunt misses a sweep and then Wyatt only manages a single.

But again New Zealand give it away, as Sciver-Brunt smashes two fours as she drops too short. She has 34 from just 15 balls.

New Zealand's bowlers need to be thinking about defence now. What ball do you need to bowl to not give away a boundary.

  19. Eng 108-1published at 12 overs

Jess Kerr recovers well, in fairness. A canny slower ball deceives Sciver-Brunt and she ends the over with a good yorker to Wyatt.

New Zealand have got to keep being brave and using their variations. Anything predictable is going to fly on this pitch, it's a belter.

It's getting a little bit concerning for New Zealand. They are leaking runs and England have gone through the gears now.
