  1. Ind 210-4published at 41 overs

    Need 48 from 54 balls

Superb over from Sophie Ecclestone, just a couple of singles from it and she's bowled out.

The left-arm spinner beat Deepti Sharma on the inside edge in that over but finishes with typically economic figures of 1-34.

    What a shocker.

  3. Ind 208-4published at 40 overs

    Need 50 from 60 balls

    Oh dear, oh dear.

Huge missed opportunity for England as Deepti Sharma moves across her stumps and is hit on the pad by Lauren Bell.

There is an appeal - not a big one - from Bell but no review... and now ball-tracking has shown it would have been out. Thudding into leg stump.

To make matters worse, the ball went away for four leg byes. England have two reviews remaining and they need something desperately. You have to wonder why they didn't take a chance on that one?

They have made it look so easy here.

The way they have kept the momentum going. What you have got is two very calm cricketers at the crease.

They are playing simple cricket. It is eating this game away from England.

    Very well played.

  6. Ind 200-4published at 39 overs

    Need 59 from 66 balls

    India are cruising.

Sophie Ecclestone's return limits them to five singles but they don't need much more than that now.

With England's premier spinner only having one over left, Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues will be confident they could even just see out that over and get the runs elsewhere.

England need something - ideally a wicket - to stop India's momentum, so here comes Sophie Ecclestone.

Would love to see a Test match in the series. I think it would make the series more engaging, even if there are a few less white-ball matches to make time for it.

  9. Ind 195-4published at 38 overs

    Need 64 from 72 balls

Oh dear. A misfield from the last ball of the over allows India a single, when it should be a much-needed dot ball for England.

Sophia Dunkley lets the ball through at cover as the ball bounces on one of the wicket ends.

With 11 from Lauren Bell's over, India are in a fantastic position now.

I think instincts took over from Deepti Sharma.

She didn't get all of it, but her instinct, she saw it and it was on that length.

She just let her hands go. That is one to look back at.

    Huge hit!

Back of a length from Lauren Bell and Deepti Sharma swings the ball away high over the leg side.

She did that almost one-handed! The first six of the day.

With Lauren Bell we will see if she's going to go slower or short balls. She will have a clearer strategy.

  13. Ind 184-4published at 37 overs

    Target 259

Flayed over the off side for four!

Jemimah Rodrigues takes the attack to Emma Lamb and finds the boundary stylishly.

That's the only boundary from the over but India take nine from it. England need to break this partnership - quickly.

  14. Ind 175-4published at 36 overs

    Target 259

Deepti Sharma pushes the ball into the gap at point, scampers back for two and that's the fifty partnership.

Seven form the over and it's exactly a run-a-ball needed for India from here.

It could bubble into a good game here. There's a bit of work to be done with the run-rate.

I think we could be in for another thriller.

  17. Ind 168-4published at 35 overs

    Need another 91 runs

Better over from Emma Lamb, just five singles from it.

This is a good partnership for India, though. Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues have put on 44 from 47 balls so far.

This is fabulous cricket from Deepti Sharma. If she missed that it would be a very close call. She hit with some power! Brilliant batting.

  20. Ind 163-4published at 34 overs

    Target 259

    Big over for India!

Four of the last five overs have seen a boundary first ball with Deepti Sharma nailing a hard sweep in front of square off Charlie Dean in this one.

Two balls later, Jemimah Rodrigues drills the ball through extra cover for four more.

With 11 from the over, India's required rate is back to six on the dot.
