Lauren Filer has bowled more bouncers (9m+) than any other length in ODI cricket, but has only taken five wickets on this length, with an average of 26 and an economy of 6.5.

When she pitches it slightly fuller and hits a hard length (7-9m), she has much more success, with seven wickets at an average of just 11 and an economy rate of 4.2.

  2. Ind 90-1published at 17 overs

Pratika Rawal picks up her third four, guiding Sophie Ecclestone's ball through deep third and seeing it beat the chasing Tammy Beaumont to the ropes.

It's all looking quite comfortable for India out there.

Four more to Harleen Deol. The runs are coming off here. They are waiting for the ball, playing it late and using the pace.

  5. Ind 84-1published at 16 overs

India accelerate well out of the drinks break, taking 10 runs from Lauren Filer's third over.

Nine of them are Harleen Deol's with two fours, twice sending lovely drives through the covers.

If Charlotte Edwards is building towards deepening the opportunities for the likes of Charlie Dean and Sophie Ecclestone to step up with the bat then you need them doing this. That gives you a rounded squad if they are performing with the bat.

  7. drinks break

    Ind 74-1published at 15 overs

Consecutive twos for Pratika Rawal off Sophie Ecclestone, with the first of those breaking through the legs of Tammy Beaumont at backward point.

    Ecclestone grimaces in frustration.

The players take drinks at the end of the over - at this stage England were 83-2.

It's been a placid wicket and they are good batting conditions; India are looking relatively unruffled.

It was fantastic how Harleen Deol waited for it and then managed to find the gap.

Breaks through the cover and fielder and off to the boundary!

Harleen Deol gets her first boundary driving Sophie Ecclestone.

  12. Ind 59-1published at 12 overs

Changes at both ends after the pacy Lauren Filer replaces Lauren Bell.

She starts with a wide, but the rest of the over goes for just two singles.

  13. Ind 56-1published at 11 overs

As in England's innings, we get our first bowling change straight after the powerplay and it's a spinner coming on, with Sophie Ecclestone bowling in her first ODI since last winter's Ashes.

Harleen Deol drives through the covers for three, with the ball cut off the boundary, before Pratika Rawal gets a single with an edge to mid-wicket.

  14. Ind 52-1published at 10 overs

Harleen Deol starts with four dots and then gets off the mark with a single through fine leg off Lauren Bell.

Four runs off the last two overs and that's the end of the powerplay - England were 55-2 at this stage.

Possibly controversial opinion, England looked a better fielding side under Beaumont. She had better decision making with the bowlers for me.

Smriti Mandhana played some scintillating shots before getting out.

It was a massive wicket for Lauren Bell, but now 50-up for India, and they're still in a very strong position.

What they don't want to do is lose wickets in pairs.

  17. Ind 51-1published at 9 overs

Harleen Deol comes out at number three, but starts at the non-striker's end as Pratika Rawal takes all of Kate Cross' over.

A wide and a two through square brings up India's fifty.

    That is a brilliant delivery.

That just nipped away from Smriti Mandhana, who was poking at it.

Lauren Bell didn't know. She was a bit shocked!

It was a good knock, but Mandhana would have liked to carry this on.

    Lauren, I take it back.

The England seamer switches to round the wicket and immediately has her reward as Smriti Mandhana pokes at a delivery outside her off stump.

It takes the faintest of edges and goes through to Amy Jones behind the stumps.

There is no real rush. India have had a brilliant start.

Easy pickings - Smriti Mandhana will hit those all day. It is too easy at the moment.
