Charlie Dean and Sophie Ecclestone have bowled really nicely. Ecclestone is going to carry on for her eighth over and it is so nice so see Ecclestone back in this England team.

  2. Ind 108-3published at 24 overs

Charlie Dean's second over goes for four singles, with Jemimah Rodrigues getting off the mark with a sweep behind square.

One over to go until the half-way point - England were 114-4 at that point.

  3. Ind 104-3published at 23 overs

Hamanpreet Kaur takes a second-ball single of Sophie Ecclestone to bring Jemimah Rodrigues on strike.

The new batter faces four dot balls to start her innings.

If this game goes to the wire, much of it will be down to Sophia Dunkley, who held England together when wickets fell at both ends of the innings.

    On her birthday too!

Harleen Deol never grounded her bat. That is village.

That is awful. What an awful way to give your wicket away. It is rule number one when you run between the wickets.

That is a freebie for England. That is horrible. What are you doing? That is horrific.

    So, so village.

    Deol run out (Davidson-Richards) 27 (Ind 102-3)

    Oh dear.

This is very poor from Harleen Deol.

She gets in fairly comfortably, but doesn't ground her bat and her foot is raised as it crosses the crease.

She'll have to go having made a very basic mistake.

  9. Umpire reviewpublished at 21.4 overs

Harleen Deol taps the ball out to mid-on off Charlie Dean and sets off for a quick single.

Alice Davidson-Richards hits the stumps with a direct hit - Deol looks to be well in, but the umpires will take a look as usual.

Sophie Ecclestone has asked a few questions. A little inside edge going past the front pad. Luckily for Harleen Deol it was past leg stump.

Aha, the first maiden of the day, and it's Sophie Ecclestone's.

Harleen Deol edges a delivery away from the stumps.

Good milestone for India here. Harmanpreet Kaur is starting to see the ball nicely so England need to chip away.

    Target 259

A couple of wides at the start of Lauren Filer's over - we've had six in the innings, for the record.

Harmanpreet adds two to her tally by sending the ball out through mid-wicket - it's stopped by Tammy Beaumont, who seems to have been everywhere in this innings, on the ropes.

    That brings up India's hundred.

England's bowling looks toothless. Not helped by strange field placements and poor (no very poor) fielding.

    Ind 95-2

Could new batter Harmanpreet Kaur be out almost immediately?

The India captain faces four dots then knocks the final ball of the over into the covers and sets off for the non-striker's end.

Charlie Dean collects and achieves a direct hit - the umpires take a look... but Harmanpreet is home fairly comfortably.

    Really needed for England.

India were almost looking effortless. Pratika Rawal shows Sophie Ecclestone a lot of the stumps so when one runs on it leaves her exposed.

Rawal was looking to play that cut shot.

Ecclestone getting the wicket that they desperately needed.

Sophie Eclestone has her first victim!

Her delivery sees Pratika Rawal get stuck in her crease and cramped for room, she's unable to stop her stumps being broken by the England spinner.

A partnership of 46 comes to an end.

Harleen Deol pushes Lauren Filer away and initially sets off before deciding there's no need to take a risky single.

Pratika Rawal has to dive back into her crease as the ball flies past the non-striker's stumps.

I just watched a replay of Smriti Mandhana's wicket, and it looks like Lauren Bell didn't initially realise she'd taken a wicket.

    It was a thin edge.
