  1. Ind 152-4published at 33 overs

    Target 259

Not a great start from Emma Lamb. A loosener to start, it's too short and too wide - and promptly cut away behind square by Jemimah Rodrigues.

Having once fielded in the covers while Emma Lamb bowled many years ago - for Bramhall CC, who have been in the news recently after an extraordinary finish to their match at the weekend, external - I can say such deliveries are a rarity.

    Anyway, six from the over.

  2. Ind 146-4published at 32 overs

Charlie Dean continues after drinks and everyone just seems to be easing themselves back in.

Five singles from the over and now David gets his wish, Emma Lamb will bowl the next.

Why not give Emma Lamb a bowl as the spinners look more of a threat? Especially as there is a left-hander in.

England have done brilliantly to keep the lid on India since the 21st over and have conceded just 33 runs in the last 10. 33-2 is the least number of runs scored in any 10-over period of the match so far.

  5. drinks break

    Drinks - Ind 141-4published at 31 overs

    Target 259

That boundary helps India to seven from the over, that'll do nicely for the away side.

Kate Cross did find the leading edge of Jemimah Rodrigues and the ball balloons into the covers... but somehow lands safely without a fielder even managing to making an attempt at a catch.

    Time for drinks.

A poor delivery. A lot of room outside the off stump.

Lauren Filer should have and could have done better. She should stop it.

  7. Ind 138-4published at 30.1 overs

    Target 259

Short, wide and slapped away by Jemimah Rodrigues.

A freebie from Kate Cross and despite the diving effort from Lauren Filer, the ball reaches the boundary.

  8. Ind 134-4published at 30 overs

    Target 259

Six from Charlie Dean's latest, all of them coming via the sweep.

Deepti Sharma gets four of them as she puts away a loose delivery, helping the ball away behind square.

There is nothing to panic about.

You have two experienced players in Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma, so there is plenty of batting there.

  10. Ind 128-4published at 29 overs

    Target 259

Much better from Kate Cross in her second over back.

Just a couple of singles from the over, India's required rate is now 6.23 an over.

Still perfectly manageable but it's edging up and up with England bowling nicely.

28 overs gone and India are 126-4.

At the same stage, England were 129-4.

  12. Ind 126-4published at 28 overs

    Target 259

The end of a successful Charlie Dean over.

She's taken the crucial wicket of Harmanpreet Kaur - given out lbw on review - and just two runs from the over.

Deepti Sharma is the new batter with India suddenly not looking so comfortable. WinViz did tell us that England were clear favourites...

Unfortunately, that is two shockers for Sue Redfern today.

It hit Harmanpreet Kaur in line and it was never going over.

    Harmanpreet had played so nicely.

    Harmanpreet lbw b Dean 17 (Ind 124-4)

Impact in line - and that spells trouble for Harmanpreet Kaur. Hitting three-quarters of the way up middle!

England have the big wicket of the India skipper!

That's a big moment in the game. Superbly bowled from Charlie Dean, nicely flighted and doing just enough to beat the bat.

I think this has hit her outside the line, but if it's in line you would think it is going to be out.

Charlie Dean hits Harmanpreet Kaur on the pad as she goes to sweep.

Given not out but England call for the review. Did it hit her outside the line?

  17. Ind 124-3published at 27 overs

All just a little bit too leg side from Kate Cross.

The seamer repeatedly angles the ball into the pads of Harmanpreet Kaur and the India captain keeps finding the gaps, running three twos in the over.

Eight from it in total, good one for India.

  18. Ind 116-3published at 26 overs

Good over from Charlie Dean, just three singles from it as the required rate for India creeps up towards sixes.

It's 5.95 at the moment. Time for a change of bowling for England, Sophie Ecclestone - with just two overs of her allocation remaining - is replaced by Kate Cross.

    Thanks, Mike.

England, despite some iffy fielding, aren't letting India get away here but the tourists are still in the driving seat, right?

Wrong! Well, at least according to WinViz...

    Swept away for four!

Jemimah Rodrigues takes her first boundary, dispatching Sophie Ecclestone's first delivery behind square.

One more single from the over and as we get to 25 overs it's time for me to hand you over to Sam Drury for the rest of this match.
