    Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner on BBC Two

Sam Billings is such a great captain. He knows how to subtly move the field and has great peripheral vision. He is constantly looking at everything.

They are making is so hard for the Spirit.

  2. Spirit 65-7published at 75 balls

Jason Behrendorff is done for the night with the ball, another very tidy five to end his spell.

Oval Invincibles continue to put the squeeze on London Spirit.

  3. Spirit 61-7published at 70 balls

Will Jacks is into the attack and rattles through five balls for only four runs.

The last is a jaffa, spinning past Luke Wood's outside edge as he pushes forward.

Just 30 balls left in the innings and you have to wonder how London Spirit will approach it with just three wickets remaining.

How would I describe those Sam Curran dance moves after the wicket?

    Rogue, extremely rogue.

  5. Postpublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 5 August

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Two

When Sam Curran bowls that ball, it gives the batter no opportunity to find any pace. Spirit are in real trouble now.

Curran has also been working on his dance moves clearly as he celebrates!

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 65 balls

    Turner c Rashid Khan b S Curran 21 (Spirit 57-7)

Sam Curran strikes with his ultra slow delivery!

The ball comes down with snow on it, Ashton Turner tries to wallop it over the leg side but sends the ball into the grateful hands of Rashid Khan.

This is getting ugly for London Spirit.

    Ravi Bopara
Former England all-rounder on BBC Two

Higgins is not a bad player to have coming in at this stage. He can clear the ropes and is a powerful hitter of the ball.

    Kieran Parmley
    Cricviz analyst

This is the 18th time a side has lost six or more wickets after 60 balls in a men's Hundred game - on only two occasions has a side gone on to win from here.

  9. Spirit 55-6published at 60 balls

Another brilliant set from Rashid Khan.

He's got 2-11 from 15 balls and gets his last ball to rag past the edge of new batter Ryan Higgins.

    Good luck playing that.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 57 balls

Dawson lbw b Rashid Khan 1 (Spirit 55-6)

Yep, no point hanging around for that. It's plumb.

No bat involved, hitting in line and skidding on to hit middle.

Rashid Khan has his second and London Spirit are in danger of not batting the 100 balls.

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Two

Dawson is already storming off. He has seen enough.

  12. Spirit reviewpublished at 57 balls

This looks like another one for Rashid Khan.

Liam Dawson is hit in front trying to sweep but reviews, probably more in hope than expectation.

  13. Spirit 54-5published at 55 balls

Ashton Turner is still going for London Spirit. He's the only batter who has shown much timing and clubs Nathan Sowter out to the leg-side boundary to end the set.

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Two

That was worth a look for me. Ashton Turner asked him if he wanted to review but Simpson walked straight off.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 53 balls

    Simpson lbw b Sowter 1 (Spirit 49-5)

Nathan Sowter gets the fifth for Oval Invincibles.

John Simpson is caught out by a drag-down from the wrist-spinner that stays low and hits him plumb in front.

No doubt it was hitting the stumps but ball-tracking shows it did pitch outside leg - no review from Simpson, though. He'll be ruing that decision when he sees the replays...

  16. Spirit 44-4published at 50 balls

Ashton Turner takes advantage of a rare loose ball from Rashid Khan, helping it on its way down to fine leg with a sweep.

If that was controlled, though, the next is a hack. Too full for the big shot he was attempting but an inside edge not only saves him but brings a single.

Halfway through the innings Oval Invincibles will be by far the happier of the teams.

  17. Postpublished at 19:06 British Summer Time 5 August

    Ravi Bopara
Former England all-rounder on BBC Two

Rashid Khan does not have loads of turn, but just enough for the batter to not know where it is going to go.

This is a masterclass. He is a nightmare early in your innings. What you don't want is to get lbw because that's the one he wants.

  18. Spirit 39-4published at 47 balls

    Just brilliant from Rashid Khan.

He's continued into a second set of five and John Simpson, in at six for Spirit, can't pick him.

Twice the left-hander is beaten by the googly and, right now, Spirit are going nowhere fast.

    Lord's is extremely subdued.

Former England all-rounder on BBC Two

That's why they had that fielder there - they knew Madsen loves the reverse. That little bit of movement off the pitch ruins all of your timing as a batter.

This is the worst kind of start for the London Spirit.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 43 balls

    Madsen c Clark b Rashid Khan 10 (Spirit 38-4)

    No doubt about that one.

Rashid Khan does get his wicket this time and London Spirit are in the mire now.

Wayne Madsen goes for the reverse sweep, gets it all wrong and the ball balloons up to Jordan Clark at backward point.
