Who was that in the dugout in batting kit who ducked out of it? They could have just pulled it back into the outfield.

    Need 48 from 30 balls

    Six into the England dugout!

That has nearly wiped out Will Jacks.

The two boundaries from Tom Banton change the complexion again.

  4. Eng 143-4published at 14.5 overs

Reverse sweep for four by Tom Banton! England have used that shot a lot today.

  5. Eng 139-4published at 14.4 overs

Motie is doing well to keep the ball out of Bethell's hitting arc. Only singles so far...

    Carlos Brathwaite
Former West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's the stage of the game where Bethell is thinking "I need to get after him" and Motie is thinking he'll use that to get a wicket.

  7. Eng 136-4published at 14.1 overs

Jacob Bethell has a glance towards the leg-side boundary before taking his guard...

  8. Postpublished at 17:35 British Summer Time

Gudakesh Motie is back for the first of his final two overs.

England need 10.33 runs per over.

  9. Eng 135-4published at 14 overs

    Need 62 from 36 balls

Roston Chase darts one in onto Jacob Bethell's pad to end the over and the result is a big appeal for lbw. I had it as hitting but the umpire - and clearly Chase because there's no review - reckons it was missing leg.

  10. Eng 134-4published at 13.4 overs

Chase is on the back foot now. He follows with two wides as Banton lets the ball go outside his off stump.

    Carlos Brathwaite
Former West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

A little too straight from Roston Chase, maybe thinking on the first ball go wicket to wicket.

  12. 6 runs

    Eng 132-4published at 13.4 overs

Tom Banton is known as a great hitter of spin and he slog sweeps his first ball for six.

    Carlos Brathwaite
Former West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Chase is around the wicket to Brook, using that angle across him to take it out of the hitting arc. That one kind of spliced, and a good catch.

Powell takes second catch of innings to dismiss Brook for 34

    Gone this time!

Harry Brook thumps his bat in anger after repeating the shot but hitting it to Rovman Powell at long-off.

The game swings back towards West Indies again.

    Mind the windows, Tino (Harry)!

Harry Brook slams Roston Chase into the flats over long-off.

Jacob Bethell is a man not lacking in confidence.

  17. Eng 120-3published at 13 overs

    Need 77 from 42 balls

I was just about to say Jacob Bethell has either been promoted to take on the left-arm spinner - the left-hander's positive match-up - or to give a left-hand right-hand option to England.

Here he charges left-arm tweaker Hosein and gets an early four.

  18. Postpublished at 17:27 British Summer Time

Jacob Bethell has come out at number five - a place higher than he batted in the previous game.

    Carlos Brathwaite
Former West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

That's clever from Akeal, held that one back slightly for Jos Buttler. First they set the field, then went so much slower there was nowhere to go for Buttler, then everyone held their breath until Johnson Charles caught it.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.2 overs

    Buttler c Charles b Hosein 47 (Eng 112-3)

Jos Buttler is out! This is big.

It's that reverse sweep again. He has nailed the previous two but this time he hits it straight to Johnson Charles.

Charles dropped him a couple of overs ago but, with the crowd in his ears behind him, he takes the catch with minimal fuss.
