  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:28 BST 17 September

    Hudson-Prentice b Bess 17 (Sussex 220-7 v Yorks 194)

Dom Bess comes up for only his second over of the day and after three dot balls turns one sharply from outside off stump to bowl Fynn Hudson-Prentice. Wonder why the spinner has been so under-used?

Ollie Robinson is the new batter.

  2. Women's One-Day Cup updatepublished at 15:24 BST 17 September

Freya Kemp has just got to a swift 50 for Hampshire but is promptly dismissed by Kalea Moore.

Kemp hammered seven fours and two sixes in her 29-ball effort.

Hampshire are 88-3 after 12 overs, chasing 288 to win and to face Lancashire in Sunday's final at Utilita Bowl.

  3. wicket

HANTS 172 ALL OUTpublished at 15:24 BST 17 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hants 172

And Hants will be batting again in 10 minutes or so.

Kyle Abbott heaves to the leg side and Kasey Aldridge takes the catch before relaying it to himself as he goes over the rope.

The catch is clean and Hants are all out trailing by 282 runs.

  4. Postpublished at 15:24 BST 17 September

    Sussex 220-6 v Yorks 194

Matt Milnes strays onto John Simpson's pads and is tickled down to fine leg for four. Still another 42 overs scheduled in the day, but doubt we'll see all of those. Simpson is 66 not out.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:22 BST 17 September

    Organ c Leach b Vaughan 10 (Somerset 454-8 dec v Hants 172-9)

Long hop from Archie Vaughan and Felix Organ's eyes light up.

His heave to the leg side takes a top edge and loops high to Jack Leach at short third.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 BST 17 September

    Zafar c sub (Wiliams) b Aspinwall 25 (Lancs v Middx 203-9)

Another aggressive hook from Zafar Gohar but this one goes up and is swallowed by the sub fielder Will Williams on the square leg boundary.

Good short ball from Aspinwall and maximum batting points for Lancs in the bag.

  7. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 17 September

    Sussex 216-6 v Yorks 194

Jack White appeals loudly after striking Fynn Hudson-Prentice on the pad but that's not out - there was a big inside edge.

  8. No play on day three at Derbypublished at 15:15 BST 17 September

    Derbyshire 17-0 v Glamorgan 259

The umpires hoped to start play at 3:00pm at Derby but the rain returned and that is it for the day.

Very bad news for Derbyshire who need a win to close the gap on their opponents, who occupy the second promotion spot at present.

Hard to see how this could end in anything but a draw now as Glamorgan certainly won't be doing the home side any favours.

  9. 200 runs

200 for Middlesexpublished at 15:12 BST 17 September

    Lancs v Middx 201-8

With a bit of Caribbean flourish Zafar Gohar swivels on his back foot as he pulls Tom Aspinwall through fine leg to bring up the Middlesex 200.

The weather in Manchester may not have felt very tropical but that was a dashing shot.

  10. Postpublished at 15:10 BST 17 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hants 167-8

Kyle Abbott is not hiding his intentions or perhaps his frustration at the top of the order who have collectively failed.

His first two balls against Jack Leach have been despatched straight and over the rope.

Leach comes back well with just a single from the final four but Abbott is not going to die wondering.

  11. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 17 September

    Sussex 206-6 v Yorks 194

Jack White labours up to the crease at the start of a new over and Fynn Hudson-Prentice has plenty of time to crack it away to the cover boundary for four. This pitch is offering very little to the Yorkshire seamers, who have a ball that is 60 odd overs old.

  12. Bad light stops play at The Ovalpublished at 15:07 BST 17 September

    Surrey 66-0 (Target 315)

The light has deteriorated at The Oval and the players are being taken off.

We are 25 minutes from the scheduled tea interval and it's been confirmed we'll have a cuppa now and hopefully things will improve for a prompt resumption.

  13. Postpublished at 15:05 BST 17 September

    Surrey 66-0 (Target 315)

Josh Tongue's first ball of his latest over is angled down to the deep-third fence for four runs.

Surrey are handling this very well at the moment but we've seen wickets go down in clusters in this game.

This is now Surrey's highest partnership and the second best of the entire match.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:03 BST 17 September

    Barker b Leach 19 (Somerset 454-8 dec v Hants 154-8)

Keith Barker has lived by the sword, racing to 19 from 14 balls, and now he has perished by it, trying to reverse sweep Jack Leach and missing it.

Leach has taken a bruise or two to his figures over the last few overs but with a six in the final column (6-52) he won't much mind.

  15. Back under way at Old Traffordpublished at 15:01 BST 17 September

    Lancs v Middx 190-8

Tom Aspinwall has ball in hand and Zafar Gohar on strike and Middlesex start with a cut single to point.

  16. Postpublished at 15:01 BST 17 September

    Surrey 59-0 (Target 315)

Lyndon James replaces Brett Hutton after his seven-over stint for Notts.

    He's harvested for five singles.

It's gone flat out there for the visitors.

  17. Postpublished at 14:59 BST 17 September

    Sussex 199-6 v Yorks 194

A powerfully built young man is Matthew Revis and that is a good over, with just a single from it. He has 0-11 from four so far.

  18. 50 runs

    50 partnershippublished at 14:53 BST 17 September

    Surrey 53-0 (Target 315)

There's been the odd scare - notably Rory Burns being dropped in the slips but up comes the Surrey 50 and by default a 50 partnership between this opening pair.

Burns clips Josh Tongue away for four.

It's only the fourth 50 partnership of this game.

  19. Postpublished at 14:51 BST 17 September

    Surrey 48-0 (Target 315)

A wide half volley and Rory Burns climbs into it with a beautiful cover drive for four.

It's just starting to spit with rain as Hutton goes past the Burns outside edge...again.

  20. Postpublished at 14:51 BST 17 September

    Durham v Worcs 403-6

A thick inside edge from Ethan Brookes somehow evades the stumps on its way down to fine leg.

Durham are still struggling for wickets against relegated Worcestershire.
