Bangladesh could really do with a partnership here so that there is a base for Shorna Akter to have a go in the last few overs.

  3. Ban 95-3published at 23 overs

A fairly expensive over by Australia's standards as Alana King concedes nine runs.

Four of them come as byes as a delivery breaks past Beth Mooney at slip.

  4. Ban 86-3published at 22 overs

New batter Sobhana Mostary grabs two runs off the last ball of Ash Gardner's over, tipping the ball fine and racing down the wicket.

She has to dive as she comes home for a second run, but beats the throw from the ropes.

You cannot fault the plan that Sharmin Akter had trying to take on mid-on. But you have to commit either way. She was too indecisive.

Another one falters to the spin of Ash Gardner.

What a soft dismisall for Sharmin Akter. She was in two minds about that shot, whether to be aggressive and instead just hits it straight to mid-on.

It was if she changed her mind mid-play.

    Picks out the fielder!

Ash Gardner has her second wicket as Sharmin Akhter cracks the ball straight to Annabel Sutherland at mid-on.

Having been 73-1, Bangladesh are now 84-3 having scored 11 runs and lost two wickets off the last 25 balls.

Alana King is trying to find that leg-stump line and she is getting a touch greedy trying to re-create that ball. Such small margins of error in spin bowling.

  9. Ban 82-2published at 21 overs

Alana King sends down a superb delivery to Nigar Sultana, turning the ball past the outside edge of the Bangladesh captain.

Her next delivery slides down the leg side though, racing away for five wides.

  10. Ban 76-2published at 20 overs

A couple of singles off Ash Gardner's fifth over.

She's gone for 1-24 thus far, with half her overs left to bowl.

  11. Ban 74-2published at 19 overs

Nice tight bowling from Alana King, ensuring Nigar Sultana can't get her away and adding a maiden to her figures.

Bangladesh are going at 4.11 an over - not the worst platform, but realistically they'll need to attempt some acceleration at some point if they're to stand any chance against this Australian batting line-up.

  12. Ban 74-2published at 18 overs

Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana is the new batter and she takes an immediate single off the last ball of Ash Gardner's over, knocking to backward square to retain the strike.

Good brave bowling from Ash Gardner. She tempted Rubya Haider to play that shot again and she did not get the height right.

A good foundation has been set however.

The bowling change works! A pretty simple catch in the end.

Rubya Haider has had some lives out there but fails to get the elevation on that one.

Finally, Rubya Haider's luck has round out.

Ash Gardner changes ends, and sees Haider spank her second ball for four through the mid-off.

The Australian spinner get her revenge three balls later, as Haider drops to one knee and smacks the ball straight to Tahlia McGrath at mid-on.

Spinner replaces spinner as leggie Alana King comes in for Ash Gardner and her off-breaks.

Just one scoring shot off King's opening over, as Sharmin Akhter pushes a two through the covers.

If I was Rubya Haider, I would make sure I buy a lottery ticket tonight. She has played some fantastic shots amongst a whole lot of luck.

You can see the frustration on Annabel Sutherland's face.

  18. Ban 67-1published at 16 overs

Ha, yet another edged four for Rubya Haider!

She actually gets one cleanly off the bat from Annabel Sutherland's fifth delivery, punching to the cover boundary.

She makes it consecutive fours by clipping a final-ball bouncer attempting a pull, sending the ball skewing over the keeper and to the ropes.

Australia will be wanting to sharpen things up. All of the bowlers have not been exactly where they want to be and they will be keen to make some more inroads.
