    So there we have it.

    Both semi-finals done - on a sun-kissed Sunday.

Glamorgan have beaten Warwickshire to go through to their second Trent Bridge One-Day Cup final in three years.

And they will play Somerset on 22 September.

Much cider to be drunk tonight, no doubt, after a 645-run mountain at Taunton - and a home victory.

But before then there are still a few rounds of County Championship action - with a full round of fixtures starting this Thursday.

Victorious Somerset face the beaten Bears in Birmingham - while Glammy, who go to Derby, and Leicestershire, who are at Bristol, are both on the road in Division Two.

A terrific all round performance from Somerset with Lewis Goldsworthy being clapped off by his teammates after a match-winning and unbeaten 115.

But there were several others who put their hands up as Leicestershire's chase came up short not least of which Ben Green (3-63) and Kasey Aldridge (2-41).

Peter Handscomb (111) and Ben Cox looked at one point like they might actually reel in Somerset's 334 but Aldridge's intervention to break that partnership proved crucial.

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 304-8 (49 overs)

That 111 took Peter Handscomb to the top of the scoring charts in this competition but he will not be adding to it at Trent Bridge in the final.

Another super tight over from Ben Green, who finishes with figures of 3-63 from his 10 overs, leaves the visitors needing 31 off the final six balls.

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 293-8 (47.3 overs)

    That could be that.

Umeed dives forward at long on to take the key wicket of Handscomb for a magnificent 111 and Leicestershire's hopes fade.

It leaves them needing 42 in 15 balls.

Fittingly, it's Dan Douthwaite who takes the catch to seal Glamorgan's place in the One-Day Cup final!

Michael Booth holes out off Andy Gorvin to Douthwaite at long-off and, despite his brave knock of 35, it's all over for Warwickshire.

Douthwaite finished with 2-37 with the ball - backing up his crucial unbeaten 55 from 35 deliveries at the end of the Glamorgan innings.

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 208-9 (46 overs)

Well, nobody told Michael Booth this was a lost cause.

He's just cracked Jamie McIlroy for another two sixes in successive balls - and then Olly Hannon-Dalby has flicked the last ball of the over for another maximum!

Warwickshire have gained 19 from the over. They need 40 from 24 balls.

  9. Postpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire

Big moment. Green looked to have been nailing that over and got Tom Scriven 'out' only to be called for an above head height no ball. The free hit sails over the rope for six leaving 46 needed off 18.

  10. Postpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 189-9 (45 overs)

Still a show of defiance from Michael Booth, who slams Dan Douthwaite over the rope, but it looks likely to be too little, too late for the Bears.

They need 59 from 30 balls, with just one wicket standing.

  11. Postpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 277-7 (46 overs)

Riley Meredith has been expensive today but his penultimate over has gone for eight.

Big dot ball at the end to keep Peter Handscomb off strike.

    Over to you Ben Green.

    58 needed from 24.

WICKET: Rae c Northeast b Kellaway 8published at 18:07 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 180-9 (44 overs)

    Glamorgan are almost there!

Michael Rae has just clubbed Ben Kellaway for six and he tries to hit the next one out of the ground as well.

But he picks out Sam Northeast at deep midwicket.

Handscomb reaches his centurypublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 267-7 (44. 3 overs)

The finishing line is getting further away but Peter Handscomb has reached three figures with a four off Kasey Aldridge.

He has made it off 75 balls but Leicestershire are still up against it, still needing 67 more from 31.

  14. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 171-8 (43 overs)

Dan Douthwaite is back on to try and deal the decisive blow for Glamorgan.

Although Michael Booth bludgeons him back down the ground for a boundary, Douthwaite concedes just two more from the rest of the over.

That'll do just fine for the home side at this stage.

  15. wicket

WICKET: Lintott c McIlroy b Kellaway 26published at 17:58 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 165-8 (42 overs)

Eight down and that might be that for Warwickshire's faint hopes...

Jake Lintott reverse sweeps Ben Kellaway and the ball sails off a top edge into the waiting hands of Jamie McIlroy at backward point.

The visitors need 83 from eight overs and have just two wickets left.

  16. Postpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 159-7 (40 overs)

Jamie McIlroy's eighth over goes for two singles.

Glamorgan will certainly settle for that from the left-armer at this stage.

Warwickshire need 89 from nine overs, with just three wickets in hand.

  17. wicket

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 245-7 (42.2 overs)

Kasey Aldridge makes key breakthroughImage source, Rex Features

You can't keep him out of the game.

Kasey Aldridge broke the key partnership of Cox and Handscomb, took the catch to send Kimber on his way and has now cleaned up off his own bowling to dismiss new batsman Liam Trevaskis.

Trevaskis took one too high up on the bat and left one hanging up in the air long enough for Aldridge to scuttle round to midwicket and grab one off his own bowling.

  18. Postpublished at 17:51 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 157-7 (40 overs)

Michael Booth is off the mark, cutting Ben Kellaway to the boundary and Warwickshire won't have given this up just yet - despite the huge setback of losing Michael Burgess.

Kellaway has switched back to right-arm, incidentally.

    Hard to keep track.

The ky statistic is that Warwickshire need 91 from the last 10 overs.

  19. wicket

WICKET: Kimber c Aldridge b Leach 2published at 17:47 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 240-6 (41.2 overs)

Another one down and Somerset are right on top of this now.

Sean Dickson quite sensibly smuggled Jack Leach back into the picture with the new batsman in and it has paid off immediately.

Louis Kimber has the ability to go big but unfortunately for him he didn't go long as well, skying it to Kasey Aldridge at long on, the bowler swallowing the catch with comfort just inside the rope.

Somerset look totally in charge now despite Peter Handscomb's continued presence at the crease.

  20. wicket

WICKET: Burgess c Douthwaite b McIlroy 85published at 17:44 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 149-7

Jamie McIlroy was brought back to break this Bears partnership - and he does just that!

It's the key wicket for Glamorgan as Michael Burgess slaps him down the ground to long off, where Dan Douthwaite - who else? - holds both his nerve and the catch.

Cheers of relief as much as jubilation among the Cardiff crowd.
