  1. wicket

WICKET: Smith c Smale b Douthwaite 1published at 16:36 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 62-6 (20.3 overs)

There'll be no repeat of Friday's heroics from Kai Smith.

The Bears teenager is out for a single this time.

Dan Douthwaite gets one to climb on Smith, who can only feather it through to Will Smale and the keeper claims his third catch of the innings.

    Glamorgan look massive favourites now.

  2. Postpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 126-4 (25 overs)

Nine runs from that over from Jack Leach,

Peter Handscomb and Ben Cox, with an elegant cover drive, each found the rope.

Leicestershire are still ahead of the rate - 126 compared to Somerset's 113 at the halfway stage.

But they are four down as opposed to the hosts' loss of only one wicket.

  3. Postpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 62-5 (20 overs)

Dan Douthwaite and Andy Gorvin are really putting the squeeze on Warwickshire in these middle overs.

Michael Burgess survived another swing and miss at Douthwaite and Kai Smith has just got off the mark after walking across the previous one from Gorvin.

The required rate is up above six now for the first time.

  4. Postpublished at 16:28 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4 Leicestershire 117-4 (23 overs)

The run rate required is edging up as new batters arrive with regularity and Somerset's sharp fielding stems the flow.

It has just nudged in advance of eight an over and, looking at those left in the hutch, it is hard to know where the runs will come from.

  5. wicket

WICKET: Benjamin c Smale b Douthwaite 7published at 16:22 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 57-5 (16.5 overs)

That's a superb catch by Glamorgan wicketkeeper Will Smale, leaping high to his right.

Chris Benjamin goes to cut Dan Douthwaite and the edge flies off at pace, but Smale is alert and Glamorgan have now pocketed half of the wickets they need to reach the final.

Bears' hero from Friday, Kai Smith, is at the crease now - could lightning strike twice for the teenager?

  6. Glammy now favourites for the first timepublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9, Warwickshire 52-4 (16 overs)

    Nick Webb

Glamorgan began the Bears innings as they had their own.

Ed Barnard's opening four-wicket salvo put the Bears firmly in control. But Dan Douthwaite's brutal 55 not out then took Glamorgan to a respectable total.

And Timm van der Gugten and Jamie McIlroy have claimed two early wickets each to give the Welsh side reasons to be cheerful.

Warwickshire will take heart from their recovery in the quarter-final against Worcestershire thanks to teenager Kai Smith, batting at number seven.

But the Sophia Gardens crowd has sensed that their side could be favourites for the first time in the day.

  7. wicket

WICKET: Rahane c sub (Leonard) b Green 3published at 16:19 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 106-4 (21 overs)

Ben Green celebrates taking a wicketImage source, Rex Features

Has that just broken the back of Leicestershire's reply?

Rahane was the wicket Somerset wanted and the rock Leicestershire were hoping to build their reply around but Ben Green has struck again, taking his third wicket.

Green banged one in short and Rahane was drawn into a pull towards deep square leg, sub fielder Ned Leonard making no mistake to take an easy catch.

  8. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 47-4 (15 overs)

The change bowlers are on now for Glamorgan, with Andy Gorvin and Dan Douthwaite operating in tandem.

Douthwaite's nagging pace causes all sorts of problems for Michael Burgess in his first over.

He beats both the outside and inside edge and Burgess must be relieved to get off strike with a single.

  9. wicket

WICKET: Holland b Green 40published at 16:09 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 101-3 (18.5 overs)

    And another...

Ben Green gets a second and this time it is all his own work, nipping one back through the cramped up defences of Ian Holland.

Somerset are definitely in the ascendancy now but Rahane and Peter Handscomb will be hoping to reprise the 128-run partnership from their quarter final win over Hampshire.

  10. Postpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 41-4 (13 overs)

Timm van der Gugten and Jamie McIlroy are continuing to turn the screw here as Michael Burgess and Chris Benjamin try to rebuild.

Burgess has just got off the mark with an inside edge for a single, while Benjamin is on three - and the required rate is starting to climb now, to above five and a half an over.

  11. wicket

WICKET: Hill c Thomas b Green 19published at 16:02 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 96-2 (17 overs)

Somerset take their second wicket, George Thomas having to adjust late and dive forward at deep square leg to grab a huge top edge from Lewis Hill off the bowling of Ben Green.

The Somerset opener will be relieved to hold on to that for all that it was a good catch in the end as he appeared to lose it momentarily against the sky.

The wicket brings danger man Ajinkya Rahane to the crease but will fill Somerset with confidence that another quick wicket here could punch a big hole in the Leicestershire response.

  12. wicket

WICKET: Rhodes b van der Gugten 4published at 15:55 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 37-4 (10.5 overs)

Glamorgan's Timm van der Gugten takes his second Bears wicketImage source, Rex Features

Now Timm van der Gugten has his second!

It's not a great shot from Will Rhodes, who seemed to be trying to pull a ball on off stump and misses - losing said off stump as a consequence.

Warwickshire's top four are all back in the dressing room now and they still need 211 for victory as Chris Benjamin comes out to join Michael Burgess.

  13. wicket

WICKET: Shaikh c Tribe b McIlroy 8published at 15:48 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 37-3 (9.5 overs)

Jamie McIlroy strikes again for Glamorgan - his second wicket and their third in the powerplay.

Hamza Shaikh is on his way, clipping McIlroy straight into the waiting hands of midwicket.

That brings Michael Burgess to the middle with the Bears under pressure - but let's not forget they were 77-5 chasing in the quarter-final against Worcestershire and still ended up going through.

  14. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 65-1 (12 overs)

Jack Leach is into the attack in the 12th over, spin replacing the pace of Riley Meredith as Somerset look for another breakthrough.

Leicestershire's rapid start has slowed somewhat after the wicket of Budinger with eight coming from the following 18 deliveries.

The chasing side's 63-1 plays the 49-0 at the same stage – finely poised is the phrase.

  15. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 37-2 (9 overs)

Will Rhodes is off the mark with a boundary, pulling Jamie McIlroy to the fence as Warwickshire regroup after losing both openers.

The required run-rate shouldn't concern them too much - it's just a shade above five an over at this stage.

Wickets in hand are the key.

  16. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 30-2 (7 overs)

    Warwickshire's batters are living dangerously.

Jamie McIlroy brought the ball back a long way to zip over Will Rhodes' stumps and Timm van der Gugten has achieved something similar with one that beat Hamza Shaikh completely and shot away for four byes.

Shaikh picked up four more courtesy of an inside edge, so the bowler must feel he's due a lucky break fairly soon.

  17. wicket

WICKET: Budinger c Vaughan b Davey 33published at 15:28 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 54-1 (8.2 overs)

    Breakthrough for Somerset.

Archie Vaughan, son of Michael of course, has been heavily involved in the action already saving plenty of runs in the circle.

Sent back to the fence Vaughan made no mistake to end an explosive knock by Sol Budinger.

Jack Davey went a little short and the Leicestershire opener heaved it right down Vaughan's throat at deep midwicket.

A crucial wicket given the power he was demonstrating.

  18. wicket

WICKET: Barnard c Smale b McIlroy 14published at 15:28 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 21-2 (5.1 overs)

We have a game on our hands at Cardiff!

Like Glamorgan, the Bears are losing wickets in the powerplay and this is a big one - captain Ed Barnard swishes outside off stump at Jamie McIlroy and Will Smale takes a low catch behind the stumps.

Hamza Shaikh is the new man in for Warwickshire, facing a pressure situation.

  19. 50 runs

Leicestershire quick to first milestonepublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 18 August

    Somerset 334-4, Leicestershire 50-0 (7.4 overs)

Leicestershire's fast start brings up the half century inside eight overs. Somerset were 33-0 at the same stage.

  20. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 18 August

    Glamorgan 247-9 v Warwickshire 18-1 (4 overs)

Ed Barnard's already had an excellent day with the ball and he's started well with bat in hand too.

The Warwickshire captain has steered Jamie McIlroy through the off side for two boundaries, prompting the bowler to change his angle and operate around the wicket.

Barnard has 11, with Will Rhodes yet to score.
