  1. Stokes begins to acceleratepublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 340-4 (target 475)

Ben Stokes is finally off the mark after 22 balls, launching another reverse sweep at Nathan Lyon and this one finds the gap and rolls over the rope.

That seems to spark Stokes into action - next over he sets about Luke Wells, slog-sweeping him for four and then six to move on to 16.

More importantly from a Durham perspective, they take 16 from that Wells over and are now just 135 runs short of pulling off a remarkable win.

    Leics 134-3 f/o (trail by 201) v Gloucs

At Grace Road Gloucestershire are still hunting for breakthroughs.

No wickets since lunch as Lewis Hill and Peter Handscomb hold firm.

It's all about survival for the Foxes in the 57 overs that remain.

  3. wicket

WICKET Stewart b Gregory 37published at 14:26 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 553-9 - lead by 177

Joe Denly has edged Lewis Gregory wide of slip for his sixth four to reach his 50 off 110 balls.

But Somerset captain Lewis Gregory strikes in his next over and the hosts are nearly through this innings.

    Game on.

Grant Stewart misses with an attempted pull and chops the ball into middle and off.

The number 11 is George Garrett.

  4. 6 runs

Wayne Madsen goes bigpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 20 May

    Derbys 84-2 v Northants (target 371)

Shot! Wayne Madsen is down the track to Liam Patterson-White, swinging the bat cleanly through the line of the ball to loft it over long on for six runs.

    That's in the carpark!

  5. 'Stokes goes from first to fifth very quickly'published at 14:24 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 319-4 (target 475)

This is quite how Ben Stokes goes about his cricket.

    He's a slow starter.

He goes from first to fifth very quickly.

  6. Postpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 553-8 - lead by 177

Craig Overton is in the attack and strikes Grant Stewart on the pad as he misses a glance to leg but the appeal is turned down and a leg bye is taken.

Must have been close but probably just missing leg.

Joe Denly turns the last ball into the on side for two.

Kent have almost matched Somerset's first innings score but still need a few more runs to save this game.

  7. 'It's not particularly Bazball at the moment'published at 14:20 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 318-4 (target 475)

    Kevin Howells
    BBC Test Match Special commentator

At some point Ben Stokes is just going to want to expand a little bit.

It's not particularly Bazball at the moment, it's very defensive.

  8. Postpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 317-4 (target 475)

Anyone expecting early fireworks from Ben Stokes might be disappointed so far - the England captain's faced 14 balls and is yet to score.

He hasn't attempted too many scoring strokes either, other than a reverse sweep against Nathan Lyon that flew straight along the ground to a fielder.

Lancashire have Lyon and Luke Wells bowling in tandem at the moment as they look to put the brakes on Durham and build pressure.

  9. wicket

    WICKET Guest c Vasconcelos b Patterson-White 33published at 14:14 British Summer Time 20 May

    Derbys 74-2 v Northants (target 371)

Liam Patterson-White replaces Ben Sanderson in the attack and strikes with his third ball.

Brooke Guest is in the crease trying to drive the left arm spinner through the off side and nicks the ball to keeper Ricardo Vasconcelos.

    Wayne Madsen is in next.

Ben Sanderson is back on - this time at the City End.

  10. Postpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 540-8 - led by 164

Kent remain in quite a perilous position but they've scored runs briskly since the break and will be close to safety if that can bat for another hour.

Grant Stewart is forward to Migael Pretorius missing a drive as the ball strikes the pad and crucially the inside edge on an off stump line.

  11. Back to back hundreds for Bedinghampublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 20 May

Durham 312-4 need 163 to beat Lancashire

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

David Bedingham has just notched back to back centuries in this game, to follow hot on the heels of Lancashire skipper Keaton Jennings.

It is the first time in a game, for either side, where a batter from each team has scored centuries in both innings. I am told it is the 10th time it has happened in the County Championship.

However, Bedingham is now out, caught behind off Nathan Lyon on 103. It ended a fourth-wicket stand of 215 with Ollie Robinson, who has 114.

And that has brought Ben Stokes out to the middle. Is this day made for Stokes heroics, or have Lancashire just edged back in front?

  12. Postpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 20 May

    Glamorgan v Middlesex 41-0 (target 213)

Solid start by Middlesex as they set about this target of 213, with Sam Robson on 25 and Mark Stoneman 12.

Robson has struck three boundaries so far and run-rate isn't really an issue for Middlesex - as long as they can stay above three an over they'll be on track.

Glamorgan need wickets and they've brought Mason Crane on to bowl the 12th over.

  13. 'All the fans have been waiting for Ben Stokes'published at 14:11 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 312-4 (target 475)

    Phoebe Graham
Manchester Originals bowler on BBC Radio Lancashire

The David Bedingham wicket was the one Lancashire were after.

It's taken them the second session to get that breakthrough.

Just a slight tickle of the bat, Bedingham didn't look convinced.

It's a wicket that Lancashire wanted and it's a fantastic knock from David Bedingham.

And now what all the fans have been waiting for as Ben Stokes strides out to the crease.

  14. ouch!

Awkward for Brooke Guestpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 20 May

    Derbys 71-1 v Northants (target 371)

Luis Reece drops Michael Finan's delivery safely into the off side and the target is now under 300.

A quicker effort ball strikes Brooke Guest in a delicate area as he misses the pull shot.

The LBW shout is turned down as the ball may have pitched outside leg.

  15. wicket

WICKET: Bedingham c Hurst b Lyon 103published at 14:06 British Summer Time 20 May

    Lancashire v Durham 312-4 (target 375)

David Bedingham is gone, the next over after completing his hundred!

The right-hander prods outside off stump at Nathan Lyon and wicketkeeper Matty Hurst snaps it up off a wafer-thin edge.

Finally, a breakthrough for Lancashire after that stand of 215 - but the man marching to the crease next for Durham is Ben Stokes.

There's a familiar sight for Durham fans - another century for David Bedingham.

It's the South African's fourth ton of the season and his second in this match, matching Keaton Jennings' achievement for the home side.

Bedingham drives Luke Wells to the cover fence to bring up his latest century, from 154 balls and Durham are now 164 short of victory.

  17. Postpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 20 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 537-8 - led by 161

Josh Davey pauses before the end of his over after landing awkwardly in his delivery stride and may have rolled his ankle. Ouch.

He's OK to continue but his last ball is dragged down, well back of a length and pulled through mid wicket by Grant Stewart for four.

Joe Denly is struck on the pad by Migael Pretorius and survives the LBW shout, taking a leg bye. Just outside off peg?

A leading edge from Grant Stewart lands safely and brings another run.

  18. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 20 May

    Derbys 67-1 v Northants (target 371)

A brisk but loose over from Michael Finan, who oversteps and bowls full and just wide of off stump, allowing Luis Reece to guide the ball away for four.

That's the 50 partnership for the second wicket in 68 balls.

Reece scoops a single to leg and Brooke Guest sees out the over.

An expensive over from Migael Pretorius, costing 15 runs.

The bowler will be particularly annoyed about the first ball, which Grant Stewart drives and inside edges to fine leg for four.

But there's nothing wrong with his next stroke, pummelling the ball through cover for four more.

He gets three more through point and Denly gets another four off a full, wide ball flashed through cover.

  20. Postpublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 20 May

    Derbys 55-1 v Northants (target 371)

Luis Reece is forward to Ben Sanderson, playing safely into the on side.

He drives the last ball straight but without timing it and that's a maiden over.
