They're a difficult pair to keep quiet because they're complete opposites in terms of hands, size and playing styles.

Four more for Zak Crawley, hit square this time off the legs.
The one scoring shot of Jasprit Bumrah's over.

I completely understand some of the criticism Crawley gets, but he has dealt with the new ball being fired in by arguably the best bowler in the world (Bumrah) reasonably well during this series. Plus he is part of Englands best opening partnership since the days of Cook and Strauss. I think he deserves a bit more recognition than he’s been getting.

That's a lovely shot. That's absolutely in Zac Crawley's arc. Wide, half volley, you can't bowl that to him.
Classic Crawley.
Shardul Thakur offers a delivery that's there to be driven and the England opener doesn't need asking twice, lashing the ball through the covers.
Crawley hits Thakur for four

This morning felt like a lovely time to bowl.
Jasprit Bumrah at the other end, and this over goes better for India with just one run coming from it.
Ben Duckett turns Bumrah's first ball through backward square, and Crawley plays out the rest of the over without scoring.
Decent start for England after tea with eight runs from Shardul Thakur's over.
Zak Crawley edges past gully for four, while a Ben Duckett drive through the covers brings three.
Thanks Tim.
Shardul Thakur will take the ball after the interval - England resume on 77-0 from 14 overs, with Zak Crawley on 33 and Ben Duckett on 43.
Right, I'm off to grab a cup of tea myself. Thankfully, Mike Peter is poised to take charge of proceedings from here until the close of play.
A reminder that after today's live text commentary of day two of this Test match we'll be sticking around for a while to look back on arguably the greatest series of them all - the 2005 Ashes.
We'll do so via a special collaboration between the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sport’s Test Match Special called 'The 2005 Ashes: Settling the Score'.
The collaboration reimagines the drama of that legendary summer through the emotional power of music, archive commentary and storytelling, with narration by acclaimed actor Charles Dance. Blending real match audio and cinematic narration, all soundtracked by the full force of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the programme tells the gripping tale of the five-Test series that changed English cricket forever.
The programme’s emotional arc is soundtracked by classical favourites and modern works performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Expect the iconic drama of Prokofiev’s Montagues and Capulets, Soul Limbo (forever associated with cricket on the BBC), plus Parry’s Jerusalem and Bizet’s Carmen, and works by John Adams, Camille Pépin, Thomas Adès and Mendelssohn.
The whole programme will be live on BBC Radio 5 Live at 20:00 BST this evening, when you can join us for a special accompanying live text.
Apart from a nervy start by Zak Crawley, England's openers have looked in pretty good touch thus far.
England's Duckett gets three early fours
Crawley hits back-to-back fours against India
'Beautifully placed' - Duckett hits Bumrah for four
'What a glorious shot' - Crawley hits Siraj for four
As you can see from his wagonwheel Ben Duckett has feasted on anything even remotely on his legs.
England have gone at 6.20 runs per over so far in their first innings. Brisk.

Tea couldn't have come at a better time for India. They look so disheartened in the field. They just can't find an answer to England's scoring.
Zak Crawley dabs one into the leg side to keep the strike with a single off the final ball of the afternoon session. He will resume on 33 not out.
Ben Duckett is unbeaten on 43.

I would like to see more running between the wickets from these two. The right hand/left hand combo really throws off bowlers.

Ben Duckett tucks another one off his pads from Mohammed Siraj for a single before Zak Crawley defends well.

When can we start discussing the fact that Joe Root is just 120 runs away from being the second highest run scorer of all time?

Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley can play risk free now. They've had their initial surge and can now just stand their ground.
