  1. Pak 4-0published at 1 over

Muhammad Rizwan doesn't take long to get going, plonking his foot down the pitch to the second delivery and crashing it past Adair to the long off boundary.

Adair then moves one away from Rizwan - the Ireland seamer is asking some searching questions.

Brilliant ball to start, shaping away. But I don't know what he's appealing for!

A beauty from Mark Adair first up, shaping one away past Muhammad Rizwan's outside edge.

I can't quite understand how Ireland batted the overs but they did.

    Target: 107

Ireland needed a bit more of Josh Little's spirit, another 20 runs could have made this run chase a bit trickier.

But, it's a funny old game and we've seen some chases that have not gone to plan.

Anyway, the teams are out and we'll be under way soon.

Thanks Alvin, that was a sterling effort in an all-over-the-place innings from Ireland.

Right - anyone up for a low-scoring classic?

That was thrilling stuff in Lauderhill and hopefully there will be more drama as Tim Oscroft takes you through Pakistan's reply.

Imad Wasim concedes just three runs from the final over and Ireland set Pakistan a target of 107 for victory.

They've done it - Ireland bring up the 100 with a magnificent six from Josh Little.

  11. Ire 95-9published at 18.0 overs

Josh Little smacks a four off Shaheen Afridi and Ireland are beginning to frustrate Pakistan.

I'd said earlier that you have got to try to see off Shaheen and Amir to find a weak link - and then Imad comes on and takes three wickets!

  16. Ire 89-9published at 16.0 overs

Ireland edging closer to a total that would give them a chance, albeit a very small one.

  17. Ire 86-9published at 15.0 overs

Just one wicket left and 14 runs short of three figures.

    Unlikely but you never know.
