  3. 'It felt pretty surreal'published at 21:29 British Summer Time 17 July

New Zealand's Fran Jonas after taking four wickets: "It definitely felt pretty surreal to be honest. I think getting out there, even being at the home of cricket was really nice."

On the Lord's slope: "I really enjoyed the slope, the angle I bowled was definitely helped by the slope."

On thinking about the Lord's honours board: "I'd love to say it wasn't but it definitely was. It is what it is really."

On her caught and bowled wicket: "I honestly can't. I just saw it coming back and thought get there.

"It was pretty cool. I didn't know what to do with myself to be honest.

"I kind of got happy feet after it, it was pretty cool."

Do you practice it?: "Not often to be fair, I should do it pretty more. It came off today."

On having family watching her: "It's been pretty cool. All the families came and did the Lord's tour which is great and I can't wait to see them after."

On New Zealand's tour of England: "I think it's been a good learning experience. We've been disappointed about our performances but it's been great to learn from it.""

  4. 'A tough series'published at 21:25 British Summer Time 17 July

New Zealand's Amelia Kerr speaking to BBC Two: "It was a very tough series, not winning a game. England are a quality side who are one of the best in the world and the best thing we can do is go home and learn from this. I think it's just about us doing things more consistently and for longer periods of time."

  5. 'A good day'published at 21:22 British Summer Time 17 July

England fast bowler Lauren Bell speaking on BBC Two: "It was a good day. Everyone bowled well."

On Lord's: "We finally got good memories here. It's a great ground, the game at the Ashes was great, I've got a few good memories here."

On her bowling: "I've made a few changes. I feel like I've got more control and at the back end, I know my plan as well.

"I've not got a lot to say about my second wicket, because it wasn't a very good ball, but when it's on your side, it's on your side.

"I think it's sticking with the slower one. It's my go to one, I get told not to be predictable."

On learning from Anya Shrubsole: "So much. During the Hundred, Anya taught me so much. She showed me how to get out of my overs as well.

On The Hundred: "I can't wait. This series has been a bit of playing and not playing, I'm looking forward to playing a few games and getting on a roll."

  6. 'It's been a really good series'published at 21:19 British Summer Time 17 July

England's Lauren Filer, speaking on BBC Two: "It's been a really good series and that was our aim today, to get a win, so we're really happy. The key message to me from the coaches is to bowl quick so to get up to mid to high 70s was the aim.

"We know New Zealand can be a really good side and as a team, we have done really well. It shows how well we have played. We focus on us and not on the opposition."

  7. 'I'm a very happy captain'published at 21:16 British Summer Time 17 July

England captain Heather Knight on BBC Two: "Really pleased. We talked about wanting to finish this summer unbeaten. We've been ruthless. We've talked about nailing teams when they're on top and we've done that. I'm a very happy captain."

On rotating the squad: "It's been hard work remembering them all at the toss. It's been really nice to see, we've deliberately made changes to try and disrupt the group a bit. They've made selection really tough, especially for the World Cup, but that's a really good place to be in. We can pick on conditions and match-ups and that's a really good place to be in."

On her contribution with the bat: "Just trying to get the partnership going. The pitch was a little bit slow. We need to use the pitch, the slope and the angles. Charlie did well getting a few boundaries, although she did try to run me out a few times. It's great to see her contributing with the bat again."

On her summer: "Really nice, I've not had much time in the middle. I've been disappointed not being able to contribute much but I'm pleased I was able to today. I'm looking forward to the World Cup. If we lost wickets early, we're able to go hard and we've got experience in the middle too."

On preparations for the World Cup: "We've got a camp in Abu Dhabi before we head off, get used to the heat and the conditions. Have a few weeks off because the summer has been busy and it will be good to have a rest."

I watch the way this England side plays their cricket at the moment and I think it's brilliant. They have found the formula and what works for them. They are flying towards the World Cup. It doesn't feel any more like they're trying to be Australia 2.0. They have found their blueprint and they're doing it perfectly at the moment.

That's a typical Jess Kerr innings - she always wants to take the game on. She has this knack of hitting her first ball for four and I asked her once why and she said it's because she's nervous, she just swings so hard.
