    Eng 138-6published at 17.4 overs

    There is six more!

Shot of the day from Heather Knight, hitting it high and straight down the ground, over the rope for six.

Not the end Carson will have wanted to her innings.

  3. Eng 132-6published at 17.3 overs

Perhaps Heather Knight's most impressive quality in this innings has been her capability to pick off bad balls.

Eden Carson strays down the leg side and Knight helps it along for four.

  4. Eng 126-6published at 17 overs

Amelia Kerr rattles through her final over.

Seven runs come from it as Heather Knight and Charlie Dean run hard to take two off the last ball.

This partnership is working really well for England.

    Frankie Mackay
Ex-New Zealand all-rounder on BBC Two

This partnership feels dangerous for New Zealand now.

  6. Eng 120-6published at 16.1 overs

    It's all happening.

Charlie Dean is almost run out. Would have been a mile out too, had Izzy Gaze held on to the ball when knocking the bails off.

Dean ends up in a crumpled heap on the floor, but survives.

  7. Postpublished at 19:11 British Summer Time 17 July

    Anya Shrubsole
Former England bowler on BBC Two

Charlie Dean has really worked on her batting and been a revelation this summer. England want more runs from their spinners and Charlie has really stepped up in that regard. She's got a really good cricket brain - she might not have the power of somebody like Sophie Ecclestone but she is really clear what she wants to do.

  8. Eng 119-6published at 16 overs

Dean goes back-to-back with the boundaries, this time, a lofted drive through the covers to find four more.

A good 10-run over for England, with Dean providing nine of them.

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Former England batter on BBC Two

Tahuhu's extra pace is coming on nicely.

  10. Eng 115-6published at 15.4 overs

    Shot!

Lea Tahuhu, with the extra pace, drops one short and it pops up very high at Charlie Dean.

Her response? A big pull for four.

    Brilliant.

    Frankie Mackay
Ex-New Zealand all-rounder on BBC Two

New Zealand will want to bowl England out but will be hoping to restrict them to 140; maybe less if they get another wicket soon.

  12. Eng 109-6published at 15 overs

To match the range of shots shown by her captain, Charlie Dean is going for it, but has failed to get too many away for boundaries, as per her intentions.

She is picking up runs though, which at this stage is all that counts.

Knight is the glue in the middle and is so important to England.

  14. Eng 105-6published at 14.2 overs

A joy of a shot to watch from Heather Knight.

Down on one knee, she flicks the ball back over her shoulder and through fine leg for four.

She's into the 20s and in a game where England need a captain's knock, they are starting to get one.

  15. Eng 100-6published at 14 overs

What has been a tidy over from Eden Carson ends in Heather Knight finding four through the leg side off the final ball. A drag down from Carson.

Lea Tahuhu was on the rope to stop it, but got it all wrong.

Nine runs come from that over and England are up to 100.

There's been talk in this series that England's spinners have been better than New Zealand's, but tonight they have been on the money.

  17. Eng 91-6published at 13 overs

Needed runs for England as Charlie Dean gets off the mark in the final ball of the over with a back-foot cut that finds four past deep backward point.

In the previous ball, Dean had to protect her stumps with a very late and awkward block.

Brilliant effort from Fran Jonas, ending with figures of 4-22.

Bowlers who take five wickets in white-ball matches have their name inked above the doors inside the dressing rooms here at Lord's.
