    WICKETpublished at 17.2 overs

    A Kerr st Jones b Dean 43 (NZ 112-5) Target 156

Amelia Kerr's impressive innings is over.

Charlie Dean beats Kerr, who was on the charge and the ball is taken at pace by Jones.

Kerr realises she is quite a way out of her crease, but before she could do anything to salvage herself, Jones whips the bails off. Great keeping.

A couple of sixes could warm this game up.

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Two

England have been electric and tenacious in the field today.

  7. NZ 104-4published at 16 overs

    Target 156

An over consisting of just four runs and a wicket leaves the situation as a very challenging one from a New Zealand perspective.

They need 52 off 24 balls or 13 runs an over to win, to put it simply.

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Two

It wasn't Lauren Bell's best ball of the day but it was the change of pace and the cross seam. It would've been wide if Halliday had left it alone.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.4 overs

    Halliday c Jones b Bell 25 (NZ 103-4) Target 156

A brilliant grab from Amy Jones!

The delivery from Lauren Bell was probably going to be called a wide, but given the nature of the situation, Brooke Halliday had a thrash at it and edges behind.

It kept low and Amy Jones reacts excellently to her left and takes the catch.

This is game on at Lord's.

  11. NZ 100-3published at 15 overs

    Target 156

Brooke Halliday helps to bring up a 13-run over and England's 100 with a thick outside edge to the boundary rope.

New Zealand need 56 from five overs. Game on.

  12. Postpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 17 July

Earlier, Brooke Halliday also found six with this great shot.

  13. 6 runs

    NZ 93-3published at 14.1 overs

    Target 156

All the way from Amelia Kerr!

She goes from 30 to 36 in one thumping drive down the ground.

Initially, it looked to be four, but it pitched on the rope and is rightly given as six.

  14. Postpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 17 July

New Zealand are still in this, but they remain behind the rate.

  15. NZ 87-3published at 14 overs

    Target 156

In true Lauren Filer fashion, as she has done quite a few times in this match, she's recovered from a first-ball boundary with a tidy over.

Eight runs come from it, but at this stage, England will be pleased with it.

New Zealand need 69 runs to win off the final six overs.

  16. NZ 83-3published at 13.1 overs

    Target 156

Lauren Filer comes back into the attack and again, her first ball of the over goes for four.

A wider ball offers Brooke Halliday the chance to go at it and she gets enough on the shot for four.

Jack Rule: What’s sad to think is that was probably the last time that we will see Suzie Bates & Sophie Devine playing for NZ in England. They really haven’t had the summer that you think they would like to finish on. The decline of the NZ team is just so sad to see.

  18. NZ 79-3published at 13 overs

    Target 156

Charlie Dean responds well with the ball after a good couple of overs for New Zealand's batters.

Just four runs come from the over. All singles.

  19. NZ 75-3published at 12 overs

    Target 156

Sophie Ecclestone with an unusually expensive over by her standards, with 11 coming from it.

England stick with spin for the next over in Charlie Dean.
