  1. wicket

NOTTS 385 ALL OUTpublished at 115.1 overs

    Notts 385 & 347 (lead by 365 runs) v Essex 367

Jack Haynes has holed out on the boundary to Noah Thain for 142, Jordan Cox performing a hokey cokey with the rope, tossing the ball up before stepping back over to execute smartly.

And that brings an end to the Notts innings which has given them a 365 run lead with 54 overs (or 52 after the changeover) left in the day.

  2. Postpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 14 April

Hants 150-4 - target 377 to beat Surrey

Toby Albert seizes on width from Matt Fisher and hammers the ball through point for four and that's the Hampshire 150 in 57.3 overs.

Back and across with immaculate footwork and Hampshire looking comfortable for much of the afternoon session.

  3. Postpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 14 April

    Lancs 228 & 258-4 f/o v Northants 496

Josh Bohannon has been a Red Rose hero in this innings and he's forward to Raphy Weatherall defending into the on side.

Weatherall switches to round the wicket and the expected short ball is very short, and Bohannon ducks.

    That's been adjudged wide.

Bohannon tries to whip away a leg side ball but hasn't connected and the ball dribbles in front of the popping crease.

    Lancashire are 10 behind.

  4. 50 runs

50 for Caleb Jewellpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 14 April

Derbyshire 106-2, target 449 to beat Leicestershire

Two half-centuries in the match for the Australian, bringing up the milestone in 53 balls with four fours and a six.

He also made 50 in each innings at home to Gloucestershire last week.

What a start to life in England for the 27-year-old...

He and Wayne Madsen (25* from 28 balls) are keeping the asking rate under six an over as the afternoon wears on but they couldn't, could they?

    Ask is under 350...

  5. Postpublished at 14:20 British Summer Time 14 April

Hants 143-4 - target 377 to beat Surrey

Matt Fisher was Surrey's sole wicket taker in the morning session but he's a bit too wide of off stump to trouble Toby Albert here.

Albert ducks under a bouncer to see out the over.

  6. 250 up for Lancspublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 14 April

    Lancs 228 & 257-4 f/o v Northants 496

Lancashire reach the innings 250 in the 98th over with a first boundary from Matty Hurst, going back to spinner Calvin Harrison to pull a back of a length ball in front of square for four.

Josh Bohannon pushes forward to Raphy Weatherall and gets an inside edge on to the pad as the ball lands safley.

Another ball keeps low and beats Bohannon outside off and that's a good take by keeper Lewis McManus.

The last ball is short and uppercut above Bohannon's eye line as he leans back and the ball goes to deep third for four.

That cut back off the seam.

Definitely some encouragement for the bowler.

  7. 'Hampshire are making it difficult'published at 14:15 British Summer Time 14 April

Hants 140-4 - target 377 to beat Surrey

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

Hampshire are making it as difficult as possible for Surrey at the moment.

It's been a solid session since lunch for them.

Nick Gubbins has been around a while, but he's looking very organised in this innings, he likes batting here.

  8. Postpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 14 April

    Hants 140-4 - target 377

Four runs to Nick Gubbins with a lovely flowing drive through cover on the front foot off Kemar Roach.

Toby Albert remains more watchful after nearly being flummoxed by a slower ball, playing Dan Worrall defensively down the ground.

He gets a shorter ball and pulls behind square for four.

  9. Postpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 14 April

Glamorgan 195-3 - lead Gloucestershire by 34 runs

No news is good news for Glammy fans.

Kiran Carlson (36*) and Colin Ingram (28*) have added 73 for this fourth wicket and Gloucestershire are toiling a little with a ball which is 65 overs old.

The visitors' lead has ticked up to 34.

  10. Postpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 14 April

    Lancs 228 & 247-4 f/o v Northants 496

Now then... can Northants make some more inroads and keep Lancashire to a low target?

A fairly defensive field for Raphy Weatherall with a lone slip almost in a gully position.

Josh Bohannon ducks under a short ball and he's nearly foxed by one that keeps low and misses off peg by a whisker.

  11. Postpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 14 April

Warwickshire 101-5, target 339 to beat Durham

Lovely back-foot push through the covers off Matty Potts from Kai Smith, who batted nicely in the first innings too, brings up the Warwickshire 100 with a boundary.

if they were one down they would be in with a chance of winning this, but the carnage before lunch has seemingly put paid to their hopes.

  12. Postpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 14 April

Hants 130-4 - target 377 to beat Surrey

No early alarms for Hampshire so far in this session.

Dan Worrall drops short and Toby Albert heaves the ball behind square leg for four to move to nine.

Worrall goes a little fuller and Albert defends.

  13. Postpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 14 April

Warwickshire 95-5, target 339 to beat Durham

Smothering stuff from Durham, but stoic from Bears batters Kai Smith and Ed Barnard.

Matty Potts and Ben Raine combine for four straight maiden overs.

    Harris c Sales b Harrison 50 (Lancs 228 & 243-4 f/o v Northants 496)

    Gone! Out of nowhere!

Turn for leg spinner Calvin Harrison and Marcus Harris has glanced that ball to James Sales at short leg.

Great catch. That ball was on him quickly.

Matty Hurst joins Josh Bohannon in the middle.

  16. 'It's only a matter of time for Sussex'published at 13:57 British Summer Time 14 April

Somerset 212-7 - target 595 to beat Sussex

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

There was a possibility that Lewis Gregory and Tom Abell could have put together a partnership, but I don't put much money on the batsmen to come in to last many overs.

As I said before lunch, it's only a matter of time for Sussex now.

  17. 50 runs

50 for Marcus Harrispublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 14 April

    Lancs 228 & 242-3 f/o v Northants 496

Four runs to Marcus Harris whipped through mid wicket off Calvin Harrison to reach 49 and he works the spinner through point for one for his third score of 50 or more in four innings this season for the Red Rose.

    94 balls and nine fours.

  18. Postpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 14 April

Derbyshire 68-2, target 449 to beat Leicestershire

Ian Holland celebratesImage source, Rex Features

An early breakthrough for Leicestershire in the afternoon session as Ian Holland tempts Harry Came into a push which sends an edge through to Peter Handscomb who takes a low catch at slip.

Came made eight from his 54 balls but skipper Wayne Madsen joins Caleb Jewell (42*) trying to stave off the threat of defeat in this high-scoring game at Grace Road - we have passed 1,300 runs already.

  19. Postpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 14 April

    Lancs 228 & 237-3 f/o v Northants 496

This game seems to be slipping away from Northants.

A brace of fours for Josh Bohannon in the Raphy Weatherall over, offering width outside off stump slicing through point and driving through extra cover on the back foot.

A single apiece for the Lancashire number three and Marcus Harris and the fifth ball is hammered through the off side for four more.

    14 runs off the over.

  20. Postpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 14 April

Hants 121-4 - target 377 to beat Surrey

Good judgement from Nick Gubbins, leaving a back of a length delivery from Dan Worrall that nips back and passes over the stumps.

The last ball of the over nips back too and he's struck on the pad playing around it.

Too leg side though but encouraging signs for the bowler.

    Kemar Roach will bowl next.
