I'm not sure that was quite needed from Lewis Gregory at this stage. I think you've got to use a bit of brains there.

There's only three or four balls in the over, Rashid Khan's caused a lot of damage on this pitch. bit of a needless swipe from Gregory.

    Gregory b Rashid 14 (Originals 102-6)

    Jack Skelton
    BBC Sport

Rashid Khan is just too good. The Afghanistan leg-spinner waves goodbye to Lewis Gregory's stumps.

Poor Phil Salt is unbeaten on 38, with no-one of his team-mates giving him enough of the strike.

  4. Spirit 107-7published at 85 balls

Nicely played by Sarah Glenn, using her feet to left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen and threading the ball through the off-side for four.

With 15 balls to go, Spirit have at least given themselves a chance of posting a total that gives their bowlers a chance.

London Spirit want to be scoring two a ball from here on with wickets in hand. The Welsh Fire will be wanting to clean up the tail.

Shabnim Ismail went short, that was the plan all along. She executed perfectly but the two fielders got very confused in the deep.

  7. Spirit 99-7published at 80 balls

    Top shot from Sarah Glenn.

A full, straight ball from Shabnim Ismail but the England spinner pumps it back over the seamer's head for four.

The short ball nearly does the trick for Ismail a couple of balls later as Glenn top-edges a hook shot. But the ball lands safely in the gap between the two fielders in the deep.

This pitch has taken some turn. Every spinner has been able to get something out of it, whether it is spin or bounce.

That is something that the Spirit will be looking at and they will be hoping to defend their score if they can just get a few more.

  9. Spirit 92-7published at 75 balls

So much rests on Charli Knott now for London Spirit.

She puts away a full toss to find the boundary before the end of an excellent Katie Levick spell.

The Fire leg-spinner ends with figures of 3-26 from her 20 balls.

That was short, wide and outside the off-stump from Katie Levick. A bit of a nothing shot from Charlie Dean.

Spirit are in a lot of trouble.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 71 balls

    Dean c Beaumont b Levick 2 (Spirit 85-7)

Katie Levick has her third as the Spirit skipper departs.

It's a real gift for Welsh Fire because that was no Levick's best delivery by a long way.

Short and wide but Charlie Dean, having begun to advance, then goes back to try and hammer it through but but manages only to dolly it up to Tammy Beaumont at backward point.

A rare loose delivery from Matthews. This is a key innings for Charli Knott to get her team up to a decent score for the Fire to chase.

  13. Spirit 85-6published at 70 balls

Drag down from Hayley Matthews and Charli Knott is not going to miss out.

Pulled powerfully to the square leg boundary.

Four more at the end of Matthews' five balls, Knott skipping down the track this time before whipping flamboyantly through the leg side.

The George Garton experiment hasn't really worked. He never looked comfortable, never found any rhythm, any timing.

I'm not sure if in these circumstances maybe someone a bit more experienced would have been a better suit. Sam Curran again, disruptive with that slower back of the hand moon ball.

  15. wicket

    Garton b S Curran 4 (Originals 84-5)

    Jack Skelton
    BBC Sport

Sam Curran is looking to do plenty of dancing in this year's Hundred.

After the Sammy shuffle in the opening win over London Spirit, he's gone for the arm outstretched twirl of the wrists this time after he castles George Garton.

Phil Salt remains without any support today. He's 35 not out.

Wrist spinners bring variation to the game and as a batter you have to depict which way it is spinning when it comes out of the hand.

That's what spinners have in their armoury, that surprise element.

Hayley Matthews adds Grace Harris to her list of big wickets taken in her Hundred career.

13 of her 29 Hundred wickets have been overseas batters including Redmayne and Harris today.

  18. Spirit 76-6published at 65 balls

What a ball that is from Katie Levick!

Almost the perfect leg-spinner's delivery as she flights it nicely, gets the drift in to the right-hander before it turns sharply away.

Too good for Charlie Dean, too good for most batters, and it beats everything. Just a bye but that's ball of the day so far.

    Daniel Bell-Drummond
Kent captain on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Good bowling from Saqib Mahmood. You could feel Heinrich Klaasen was ticking, Mahmood held his line and length and made him force it.

All Klaasen could do was sky it between Sam Curran and Will Jacks but some good communication from those two and Jacks took the catch

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at Invincibles v Originals

    Klaasen c Jacks b Mahmood 6 (Originals 79-4)

    Jack Skelton
    BBC Sport

Saqib Mahmood is back in the Oval Invincibles team and back in the wickets.

The England fast bowler has bagged a key scalp - the big-hitting Heinrich Klaasen has miscued one straight up for Will Jacks to settle under, after ensuring Sam Curran got out of his way.
